  1. We need Beasley or Crowder back on a cheap deal. Slot has proven to be waaaay too important to joshs game than to hope Shakir can do it and do it well. Too much money needs to be spent on a real #wr2 to be able to go out and also get a great slot reciever. I would sign Beasley for cheap and draft a slot reciever and let him learn from Beasley or Start getting Shakir more slot time with Beasley. But letting Beasley and Crowder walk and hoping Shakir can just step in can't be the option.
  2. To me it's more what's happening with Frazier. Seeing as we haven't had any news he must be staying, and if Frazier is staying then he's going to want his QB. If it was a new DC then I think edmunds is gone.
  3. Nice job, this is cool to see broken down. I'd imagine an extension/restructure with Dawkins will happen and free up some money this year.
  4. And he doesn't work back to josh on broken plays, which would be a massive help to joshs game. On the all 22 you will see him just kinda standing across feild while josh is scrambling looking down feild. Maybe the most dangerous part of mahomes game is his ability to scramble and hit a reciever working back to him. Kelce is elite at it. Then you see josh scramble and Gabe is opposite feild just giving up on the play.
  5. I'd be surprised if he got to the bills, the eagles, panthers, bucs, giants, ravens, and even titans will be looking at an RB. I think the bills having gaping holes on oline and WR2 will not allow the bills a luxury pick at RB in the first.
  6. Seriously, does no one remember when Payton was in the hot seat? He was on the brink of getting fired by an organization that loved him. He put the saints in cap purgatory and questionable draft pick trades to make playoffs and lose. I'm not saying he's terrible at all, but I don't understand the meteoric rise that he's the savior of any franchise.
  7. So this article pretty much just says " if you have an elite qb pay them, but it makes the cap difficult, but if you have just an ok qb don't pay them big money" glad they put that secret out there.
  8. Both teams actually scheme. Change the way they play each team. The bills do not.
  9. NFL wants mahomes to be the new micheal jordan "flu game" so bad. I'd be livid if I was a bengals fan, mahomes got so many breaks and calls their way all game. That last dive Hubbard got drug to the ground by his jersey, no call.
  10. Some bad money tied up in places that hurt us as well. It's definitely hindsight but I'd wager poyer would already be signed if we didnt pay terrible money to guys like star and Vernon butler.
  11. I like how everyone acts like Hodgins should have been an obvious starter with the bills, now that he found success where he is the ONLY wr on the giants that's healthy. People forget he was never healthy with the bills. Never really was able to prove anything cuz he couldn't get on the feild.
  12. Before the season I was a big Gabe Davis hype man, I thought he was gonna be big this year. In my opinion his stats show a better year than he really had, I think he was pretty disappointing, even excluding his drops. He doesn't run great routes, for a big boy he doesn't big boy or high point well and I think he didn't have great effort especially in cold weather games. If you watch the all 22, there's alot of plays Gabe doesn't work back across the feild for josh especially cold weather games like chicago, there's plays you see josh scrambling and if Gabe is across feild he gives up and stands there. And I know this is extremely common in the nfl, but not if you have josh allen or mahomes. They can do ridiculous things with their arms. Tyreek and kelce are masters at working back across feild to bail out mahomes. We see it 100 times from mahomes he bails, play breaks down, mahomes whips it side arm to kelce coming back across feild. It's really disheartening to see josh run for his life and see Gabe across feild just standing there. I'm not saying it's every single play but I see it alot and it sucks. No question we need a #2 or the very minimum a reliable slot for josh.
  13. WR is going to be tough this year, the FA market is rough, the draft class is ok. But I'd say finding solid starters at guard and RT can be done in FA if the money can be shifted around. Finding a FA WR2 and affording it will be very difficult, above average WRs are getting paid big money. There's alot of WR needy teams. Which tells me there will be some reaching in the draft.
  14. Agree to disagree, I see it differently and so do many other fans. But I agree bengals we're bigger and stronger all day. And no one is denying Fraziers success during the season. It's the fans like me that are tired of giving up over 30 points 2 years in a row and 27 this year when honestly it should have been way more, the Bengals were just burning clock end of the 3rd. Lots of fans don't see a path to a SB if your defense now has consistently given up over 30 to elite teams when it matters. Fraziers bend but don't break defense has been only breaking against elite qbs when it matters.
  15. Thank you, I truly pray for the day when bills fans realize when the are being trolled on purpose. If you want to be trending on social media in the nfl do you say something nice about someone? No you go after the most fiery fan bases in the nfl and insult them, and you EXPLODE on social media. Who's trending on Twitter? Apple. Why? Because BILLS FANS get mad and tweet back and retweet and tag him. He's trolling and bills fans are making him more famous. Do people really think nick Wright hates the bills? Hell no, he probably never really cared about the Bills, but he made one comment about josh allen and he was trending on Twitter for days because of upset bills fans. Insulting josh Allen and pissing off bills mafia was the best move of his career. Now he literally makes more money and gets his own stupid segments from his network every time the bills lose. All because bills fans fall for it.
  16. I disagree, tre was 4 yards past the marker, about 8-9 yard cushion on chase that only needs 4 yards with a quick trigger QB on a zero blitz, absolute no brainer for burrow, watch the all 22, burrow stares down chase pre snap to completion. Not to mention your asking your CB that's a bad tackler to come down hill make a tackle at the marker instead of playing up and playing the ball that's his strength.
  17. In that zero blitz situation he has to play press or at least play up because the line to gain was too far away for tre to make a play on a slant that easily picks up the first like he did. Did the outcome seem like playing that far back was a good idea to you?
  18. Almost all defenses would play press or up in that situation because they trust their rush to force a quick throw and your DB to break up the quick pass. Playing back like that is dipping one toe in the water because Frazier is afraid of chase getting behind tre. And on top of it Frazier is zero blitzing with a huge cushion on a qb that's a master at getting the ball out quick to a reciever that has elite yac abilities. It's like giving tyreek hill huge cushion with 13 seconds left.
  19. The play encapsulates the bills defense, the fear is if tre plays up and chase puts a move on him and gets behind him it's probably a td. So Frazier and the bills play overly safe and keep it in front. This is why the bills defense has no "juice" it has no killer instinct, has no bully attitude and loses in playoffs to tough teams. The defenses literal identity is bend but don't break, how do you expect the defense to be killers when their job is to play safe?
  20. Offense never really clicked all year other than the titans. Everything on offense felt hard fought this year. It's probably a culmination of alot of things, but a lack of wr2 a solid slot reciver and a steady run game plagued us all year, today was no different.
  21. Heavy wind and rain would have been worse for the bills. The Bengals run game destroyed us. We had no run game, would have been a blood bath.
  22. That's the play that was it for me with Frazier. Most if not all defenses will be in press in that situation, but Fraziers "keep it in front of you" defense has tre way too far back. But let's say that was tres fault being too far back. If your a DC and you see your guy way to far back wouldn't you call TO or at least screaming move up? That tells me Frazier intended that and it was cowardly football.
  23. I hate to be the Monday morning QB but not investing in talent around josh was on display today. Bengals surrounded their elite QB with elite talent. The Bills got Diggs. Burrow has 4 options better than joshs #2 option. I liked the investment into cook and Shakir but neither were expected to be elite options this year. I will say we will never know what Crowder could have been but we undoubtedly missed a solid slot option with chemistry with josh. Hopefully some things could be found in FA or Shakir.
  24. Me too man, I felt like the team never clicked like they did against the titans. I knew unless they magically clicked and played like that again the bills weren't winning a super bowl. But I cheered the whole way, fun season and it's still nice to not not be a joke of a team like we were for so long. Won't let it ruin my day.
  25. Josh didn't play amazing but today sure as hell was not his fault. Not even close. Bills saw schemes from the Bengals that were built to beat the bills. Bills were completely unprepared for it. Not to mention we saw a franchise that gave their QB 4 recieving options better than the bills 2nd best option.
