  1. I want Kansas City and Miami to win for a lot of reasons. 1. I want the Bills to be the "1" in Kansas City's 16-1. 2 I genuinely dislike Sean Payton. 3. Denver has the best defense out of our 3 prospective opponents. Defense travels well in playoffs. 4. Between how they fare against us coupled with how they play in the cold, playing in Buffalo in January would be so self defeating in the heads of the Dolphins.
  2. I seriously doubt they trade him. But Schefter is reporting that teams are expected to call the Steelers about Tomlin and his potential availability as well. I think this speaks to how the current crops of prospective head coaches are seen in league circles. Aside from the Crown Jewel of the OC from Detroit, the lost isn't great....which is why I can see Joe Brady getting a lot of interest. But there's a whole different thread for that. And with Ben Johnson, only one team can get him...and he's spent the last two years pulling his name out of jobs. Some question as to if he even takes a HC gig this year.
  3. Wait until the playoffs and we are only allowed to speak in pig Latin
  4. Dick Jauron and Wayne Fontes each won COY awards as well. That's about how much post season awards mean
  5. I hope Hollins hits his. Dude deserves it for all the dirty work he does. Well said. Won't feel bad for him at all if he doesn't. Maybe if he could keep his hands to himself he would have gotten that and more in the 4 games he missed.
  6. I'm talking as a play caller. And yes I'm sure Daboll helped Josh. There really isn't any way for us to measure how much or in what ways he specifically helped. You could throw a lot of guys on a list that "helped".
  7. To the greater point however...Daboll isn't good. Josh Allen covered a lot of his flaws and basically got him a HC job. Outside of a luck filled rookie HC season Daboll has been bad... especially since taking back play calling from Kafka. I wouldn't want Daboll back here under any circumstances.
  8. Honestly, he's one of the few "non QBs" that would start at an Elite QB trade package. Think of what the Browns gave up for Watson. I'd say close to that at minimum. And then a new contract for Garrett, most likely.
  9. Bills like to promote from within. My best guess would be Ronald Curry or DJ Mangas.
  10. No reason to worry. AJ Klein has been locked in a janitor closet since the Divisional round last year. He's ready to be unleashed.
  11. Strongly disagree. Right now there are 2 QB prospects that are viewed as top prospects in Sanders and Ward. In the teams scheduled to pick top 10 right now, I count SIX that need a shot at a franchise QB (Titans, Browns, Giants, Jets, Raiders and Saints). Now obviously, there are going to be free agent QBs out there (Cousins for instance) that will reduce that number between now and then. But you also have teams like the Colts, Seahawks and Rams that may be in the QB of the future market as well. Either way, supply and demand is a big problem. If the Pats had #1 pick and wanted to move, they would likely have a wide array of offers and not have to slide too far back IMO.
  12. They aren't that far off from being back on the up. They already have a good young QB in place. The most cap space in the league next year. And most important, it's not Belichick making the picks anymore. If they get that #1 pick and turn it into multiple picks and someone like, say Travis Hunter...they would be a really quick turn around. If I were them I would send feelers to possible HC candidates like Ben Johnson to see if they would have interest in coaching up Maye.
  13. Buffalo Joe Andreessen would be my guess.
  14. Yeah, almost in secret that have assembled a squad that has THREE former 1,000 yard WRs, Pacheco and Hunt at RB, not to mention quite possibly the best TE of all time. And an emerging player behind him in Noah Grey. They have a ton of weapons....but we still hear how Mahomes just has nothing to work with.
  15. Withe everyone playing for Allen to hand off for a play and come out...it would be hysterical to see Allen go play action pass and deep bomb to Cooper or Coleman on the first play
  16. I'll go with Trubiski. I think the Bills keep it vanilla, but he has a decent day. On defense Buffalo Joe is gonna fly all over and lead the team in tackles.
  17. I think Sunday will play out kinda like you described. Josh very briefly. Mitch til half, maybe a series or two coming out of the half then White the rest of the way. I also think Mitch and White will be in a QB battle for 1 spot next off season. Winner is the backup, loser is cut/traded. I think Buffalo grabs a different (younger) QB for the practice squad.
  18. Actually, Cook and Benford get talked about quite a bit on the broadcast I find. It's that it doesn't translate over to the talking heads during the week. That's who does the majority of the thinking for a lot of fans. Mixon was talked about a lot. He made it. Cook was glossed over because of how great Allen.
  19. Wow they just brought him back. Ah well. Here today gone to-Morrow
  20. Mitch is signed for next season as well, I believe. Could have something to do with spreading cap hit out?
  21. Here's the thing. Gruden has already been doing work in the NFL. And I really don't think having toxic people around is the determent to Woody as you may think it is.
  22. Daboll wasn't the first OC of this era. Dennison was and he was fired quickly. Yes, the LBer next to him changer from mainly Milano last year to an inexperienced Dorian Williams this year for a majority of the snaps and a broke down Milano after. The DTs ahead of him have largely the same name on the back of the jersey...but to say Jones and Oliver are playing on the same level as they were last year couldn't be further from the truth. The biggest loss on defense for Bernard IMO isn't from McD to Babich. It's having those two experienced voices standing behind him in Hyde and Poyer getting him to the right call, double checking him. He went from having 2 "big brothers" out there looking out for him to being the big bro.
