  1. Imagine catching a Josh Allen pass in these conditions.
  2. Actually, the reason they keep showing her is it invokes fan engagement. Even the overly cynical negative comments equal engagement. Things aren't scored as positive or negative online. It's all about mentions. If people would stop complaining and stop mentioning her altogether they would have zero reason to show her. Basically, they people who cry about it are just as big of a reason they show her and are no different than the "15 year old girls".
  3. Building a team with the speed like Miami has is fantastic if you have home field advantage or get lucky with dome or nice weather throughout the playoffs. It is not a winning formula for January weather on the road.
  4. Freaking Tua screws everything up.🤣
  5. Whatever happens from this point on...I blame Miami. If they didn't trot out a noodle armed QB that has zero clutch gene and they were able to handle business at home and win the division both the Dolphins and Bills would be playing in warmer Florida. And I would be there having fun in the sun all week. Now I'm stuck home and have to shovel snow tomorrow. Seriously, EFF the Fins. Screw everything up.
  6. Hmm... I feel like the opposite nof a YINzer would have been a YANGzer.
  7. Yeah, extra time for a guy like Andy Reid can't lead to anything positive, right? I'm sure he'll waste the day away. 🙄
  8. Not really. They can start prepping a basic gameplan. Tip it more to the home favorite and adjust if needed. Gives them a chance to self scout as well a bit. They also get the extra time to rehab players. An extra session or 2 is a difference. By the same token, anyone from the Bills dinged up gets less time to rehab.
  9. Yes, until next week when whoever we play (if we win) gets 2 extra days of rest heading into the game. From a competition standpoint we're getting the short end of the stick should we beat Pittsburgh.
  10. I would imagine in this scenario you have to go big for the QB. If that means a big trade and an over pay you have to do it. Unless there is one of the "other guys" in the draft that they feel is a fit and can grow. As far as vets, Russ Wilson should be available but I don't like the fit. Maybe Justin Fields. I'm not high on him but in that division he may be the second best QB if the Buccaneers bring back Mayfield. Other than that you have the usual suspects as bridge guys (Jimmy G, Brissett, Minshew ect) and that's just a wasted year.
  11. I need to see more Belichick on roller skates.
  12. I want to see Ben Johnson in Atlanta. The weapons they have is kind of a starting block of what he has in Detroit. Would love to see him actually USE Kyle Pitts.
  13. I'm going with a guy that won't turn up in the stat sheet. A guy that has played solid for the most part all year. I'm going with Spencer Brown. I have him as a key piece in the rushing attack and expect to see him doing a bit of pancake making.
  14. For me, Allen's turnovers are the one thing that people who didn't think he would have success in the NFL can cling to and say "See, he's not that good". It's the same reason Allen will be a longshot to win an MVP in his career. Those that don't like him have the votes and if he wins it proves them wrong. It is what it is. Oliver not being at least 2nd team is ludicrous. Bernard had the numbers to support it, however still doesn't have the name people recognize and is up against some strong competition. My biggest slight is James Cook. NFL's 4th leading rusher, 1500 all purpose yards and couldn't get ONE vote. Shut out completely. And that's just a few weeks removed from singlehandedly trouncing the Cowboys defense.
  15. Ed had a strong case to at least be 2nd team. Bernard had some strong numbers but there are a lot of better known ILBs ahead of him.
  16. "Get out of nickel" he says. It'll be fun, he says.
  17. That is correct. Other notable Bills and where they finished in voting: Josh Allen 4th (Behind Lamar, Dak, and Purdy) James Cook- NO VOTES Stef Diggs-15th Dion Dawkins-5th Leonard Floyd - NO VOTES Ed Oliver - 8th So....#GoBills
  18. But I keep hearing we should take him off the field and run more 4-3🤷🏼‍♂️
  19. Issue wouldn't be who would work for him...issue more of who he trusts to bring in. There's a reason he always brings people back after they fail elsewhere. Smaller circle.
  20. My main takeaway from that game was just how bad AJE was at setting the edge. At least twice he got taken out by a WR (Myers IIRC) coming back to seal him off. He hasn't gotten better with time. Good pass rusher though.
  21. I think one of the more interesting things about the Mayo promotion is there is a good chance a high percentage of assistant coaches as well as position coaches are retained. Would make it harder on Belichick to round out his own coaching staff should be land a new HC job.
  22. Benford and Jackson outside. Taron is NOT an outside CB. He plays the slot and just isn't suited for boundary.
  23. You guys realize that James Cook isn't the only one allowed to run the ball...right? That that unicorn of a QB we have that can run with the ball in his hands? Like Leonard Fournette? They are allowed to run as well.
  24. https://www.nfl.com/news/ranking-nfl-coaching-hires-anthony-lynn-at-no-1-0ap3000000778807 Ranking from NFL. Com on all the coaching hires that year. Any guesses who's number 1? Hint: Not McVay OR Shanahan
