  1. as an outsider, it's Fred Jackson. He was a hell of a workhorse back who loved contact and always ran angry. It's a shame the Bills were always trying to find his replacement instead of giving him the full workload and letting him excel. He always reminded me of Marshawn Lynch in attitude and running style on the field. Only 3x in Buffalo did he get over 200 carries: 09 - 237, 1062 yd, 4.5 ypc 10 - 222, 927 yd, 4.2 ypc 13 - 206, 890 yd, 4.3 ypc He was also effective in the passing game averaging 40.8 rec per year in Buffalo. As a Patriots fan, he always scared me
  2. because you need to see elite players to know what 1 looks like...they dont exist in Buffalo
  3. so youre going to completely ignore the proven fact that the current NFL is the easiest for passing in the history of the league? Never had receivers been as untouchable as they are now. 2nd, youre also going to ignore that TT spent 4 years learning in a Championship winning/consistently one of the best franchises before coming to Buffalo?
  4. Bouye is going to get exposed, bad. He has 1 year as a starter where he played well but wasnt great. Also helps being in that stacked Texans defense. Let's see how good he is when he's on an island instead of going against 2's and 3's while Jonathan Joseph sheltering him and taking the #1 matchup. You dont drop 13.5 a year on a CB that has only been a starter for 1 year.
  5. difference is in New England he knows he doesnt have to do everything himself because he actually has competent safeties over the top....huge difference knowing McCourty is back there patrolling. funny, the same things were said about Revis coming to NE....he's washed up, he's slow, he isnt good anymore, he's not the old Revis...then poof, like "magic", put him in a good situation and he's vintage Revis
  6. stating facts =/= a jab at the Bills its a stone cold fact that the Patriots play more nationally televised games than the Bills.
  7. you realize Brees in NO is a different animal than Brees in SD, right? In SD he was seen as a good QB with average stats and potential to be better....same as Cousins is now. In fact, Cousins has thrown for over 1,000 more yards per year than Brees did in SD. And for more TD.
  8. please sterilize yourself before it's too late... especially if you can't see how letting your dog have an obvious eye issue with no medical attention for over a month, then say you dont have the money in the same breath as listing out LUXURY items you are about to buy makes you a self centered piece of sh*t, then you have no hope. just hope you give the dog up before it's too late for her because you clearly dont care
  9. yeah you can f*ckstick. stop being s selfish f*ck and take your damn dog to the vet
  10. funny, people said the same thing about Drew Brees when he was leaving San Diego...career high at the time of 27 TD and 3,500 yds, 30-28 in 4 seasons. all he's done since then is throw 54,000 yds, 385 TD in 11 seasons...which is an average of 4,885 yds 35 TD per year. While winning a Superbowl. in 11 years in NO, he has: led the NFL in yards 7 times led the NFL in TD 4 times led the NFL in completions 5 times
  11. so, what does that make Taylor? Newton's lowest passing yards in 1 year: 3,127 Taylor's highest passing yards in 1 year: 3,035 Newton's lowest passing TD in 1 year: 18 Taylor's highest passing TD in 1 year: 20
  12. oh, definitely. EPL is the NFL of soccer leagues. most popular, most money, biggest names. i love watching EPL games too, but I tend to root for the fun stories...like a few years ago when Hull City got out of relegation for the 1st time ever (in a playoff too), latched on to them for the run. I wonder how much bleed over you get in Europe vs the home country's league.
  13. touch over 6x by population (53mill vs 320mill), which is the real factor in expenditure. plus, EPL is for all intents and purposes the only pro sports league in England (I know, there's pro rugby but its like comparing the MLS to NFL). combining the Big 4 in the US gets $31 billion spent on pro sports vs $5.3 billion on EPL roughly per capita, England and the US spend the same on pro sports: US - 96.75 UK - 100.00
  14. if hes "near average" and "middle tier" then name your top 10...top 15... Let's see some justification because Cousins stats are easily top 10. The only reason Washington doesnt love him is because he is still seen as just RG3's back up. The fans still have a hard on for RG3 and wont let that grudge go for a long time
  15. He's easily Top 10. Brady Rodgers Brees Ryan Wilson Carr Cousins Rivers Luck Big Ben He's thrown for 9,000 yards and had 63 TD the last 2 seasons...can you name more than 1 skill player on Washington without Google? Do yourself a favor and go look at the 2016 stats for QBs and try to find 15 better than Cousins. You're going to be rather surprised.
  16. So he needs everyone healthy and everything to be perfect to put up average numbers? there's a term for a QB like that.........BAD
  17. long story short, unless someone else gets the #1 seed and makes the Pats leave Foxboro, its game over in the AFC
  18. this is almost too stupid to respond to but... 1. there is still zero proof or even circumstantial evidence that the balls were tampered with....taping signals was LEGAL at the time spygate took place, the patriots were punished for the location of the camera, not the use of it. additionally, you do realize every NFL dynasty has cheated right? 70s Steelers were roided up, 80s 49ers admitted to using stick um and were caught/punished for salary cap violations, 90s broncos caught violating the salary cap and their o-linemen were caught greasing their jerseys. and for modern teams, why are the proven cheating of the other 31 ignored? Browns were punished for texting the coaches on the sidelines during play Falcons were punished for pumping in crowd noise Giants were punished for having radios to communicate to Manning after the headset shut off point 2. what do a bunch of steroid era baseball players have to do with football? you're also suffering from major confirmation bias. here's a sample of all time greats that produced absurd #s with no steroids: Gretzky Orr Lemieux Jeter Henderson Maddux Aaron Ruth Mays Mantle Jordan Bird Magic Kobe Montana Moss Sanders
  19. 100% false. it is LEGAL for WR to block up to 1yd beyond the LOS on any forward pass that is completed behind the LOS. The pass to Amendola was behind the LOS and Edelman was blocking 1yd beyond it. the play was perfectly legal and within the rules. and newsflash for the foil wearers...every single NFL team runs pick plays. the only times it gets called is when it is blatantly over the line. its the same as cops and speeding. no one looks twice at someone going 5 over the limit, but pass a cop at 15 over the limit and you're getting a ticket.
  20. hate to break it to you...but that throw is literally the only one TT has in his "arsenal"
  21. uh, yeah...that's what happens when the regular season is basically a 16 game pre-season for you. Patriots fans have the luxury of knowing the division and a #1/#2 seed is guaranteed. The biggest thing about the regular season is hoping no one major gets hurt. We expect to be in/win the Superbowl every year. The amount of success has been so high that the AFCCG is a given. 16 years of Brady 11 AFCCG appearances 7 SB appearances Simply a product of unprecedented success. and yes most Pats fans outside of NE are bandwagoners, but in NE, its a very small %. The fandom has always been there its just more involved and intense since Parcells in 1994. Hell, the FANS just voted Raymond Clayborn to the Pats HOF. Being a fan in NE goes like this...all 4 teams are beloved and have countless fans, the main focus of the fans will be on which of the 4 is doing best at that moment. That's what happens when all 4 teams win/compete for multiple titles in a decade.
