    I understand that the face mask is. My point is if this was anyone else on the offense, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. It's only because he is the QB, who is now a defender.

    I stand corrected. However, as I said, people get blown up on blocks all the time. IMO this is a BS rule if it's enforced as much. If the QB is attempting to go after the ball carrier, he should be treated as any defender.

    People get blown up on blocks all the time and yes they get hit in the head/neck area too. As much as I can't stand Mahomes and what he gets away with, this hit is not the same.

    Lamars running ability depends on quick cuts and juke moves. The snow would force him to be a passer. Keying in Henry without Lamar's running threat is a much easier task. Plus Lamar hates the cold. Wait until you see how bundled up he will be.
