  1. How in the hell are they not bringing in safeties???
  2. Don't know much about him, but maybe his play fell off under a new regime? Maybe his skill set doesnt translate to what Vrabel's defense is asking hi to do
  3. I'm all for not overreacting over a preseason game. However, Hamlin was once again taking terrible angles, out of position, and sllllllow. He isnt showing any improvement in his game. He is what he is at this point. You would hope with his starting experience that he would of been someone to stand out amongst a group of rookies and backups, but he just proved once again that he's nothing more than a backup.
  4. They had the chance to let him walk and could picked up one of the top safeties in the draft. But here we are.
  5. Preseason games are always local broadcasters
  6. You can believe what you want. It was exactly a negotiation. It might not of been how you wanted it to be done, but it was him telling everyone what his opening number was.
  7. You are correct, it isn't great. However, I don't have to have Disney/ESPN politics pushed on me there. Well, that is until now I suppose.
  8. ESPN is such a dumpster fire.
  9. Do people not realize that in negotiations, you don't start by throwing out the number you are expecting to get? It would be pretty dumb to start negotiations saying you'd take $12M. He starts high, the team starts low and you meet somewhere in the middle. That's how negotiating works.
  10. He caught it, switched it to right hand and reaches across goal line, then it hit ground and came out. Catch, possession, football move, TD Edit: I stand corrected. The NFL didn't see it that way. I couldn't hear the explanation on NFL network on why it was overturned though
  11. Think he's the athletic director for Stanford and Luck is the coach. Something like this. Maybe I have it backwards
  12. looks like he was lucky enough to just suffer a dislocation with no fracture. Still comes with quite a bit of swelling and reduced range of motion for awhile
  13. It was always the Dolphins. The problem is the Bills sucked for 17 years and the Dolphins have sucked for awhile now too. It ends up diminishing the rivalry when one team doesn't pose a legitimate threat to the other.
  14. Hindsight has zero to do with the fact that Price was not any good as a WR1. The argument is that Cook would fail as a starting RB elsewhere similar to Price. I was simply point out the fact of WHY Price failed. He didn't fail because of hindsight. So why that word keeps being used I have no clue. You can't argue injuries either. The best RB in history could suffer a career ending injury, it doesn't make their talent prior to injury any different.
  15. Price was a one-trick pony. Without Moulds on the team he wouldn't of put up those numbers either. And regardless of it being hindsight, it's why he failed on his next contract. Cook is a starting RB on any team in the NFL (given teams like philly didn't have Barkley, ravens and Henry, etc...
