  1. True, I think? Not what I'm getting at though. Let's not see them wait to get a win against the Jets. How sweet would it be for that game not to have any implications on our post season and better yet play our backups in that game against them? Let's not back in on the hopes other teams lose. Lock it up now! Let them show America with 2 weeks left, HEY! We're here! How about your team? Like Hughes said after the Dallas game. "You don't like us but we winning!!" Really good deals on OLED's right now.?
  2. This game will really tell us a lot of where this team is and if they're ready to play with the big boys of the league. Not saying Pitt is an elite team, I'm saying they're a team Buffalo should beat in this situation. It will be hard to take this team seriously if they wait until the final week to clinch when they could've done it a month prior. And God forbid they crap the bed and miss out after having over a 90% chance of getting in 2 weeks ago. IMO, this is the biggest game of the season and of Josh's career. Lock up the spot NOW! and cruise in comfort the rest of the season preparing for the post.
  3. I can almost guaranteed they looked past the Bills that game as a easy win at home. Pittsburgh will not. Tomlin>Garrett
  4. I'd rather have Cam Newton. And I don't even like Cam!
  5. Neither does Buffalo. And what do you know, we also have a fumbling prone QB. No it's not Lamar Jackson and crew but their D is pretty legit and I can see them blowing up our O line often. Don't underestimate this team. They have everything riding on this game and they're home.
  6. Dallas and Denver have "good" defenses. Pitt has an "excellent" D. Their front 7 is down right scary. I just re-watched the Arizona and Cleveland highlights and they got after Murray and Mayfield what seemed to be effortlessly. Our O line will not be able to handle them and Baltimore has already given them the blueprint for Josh. We will have to hope we force some turnovers from Duck. Hopefully get an early lead and force them to pass often, something the Duck is not accustomed to. One thing I did notice about Duck is he isn't afraid to chuck it. He throws the deep shot when there's single coverage and trusts his WR's to make the play.
  7. I agree but hopefully our playoff aspirations don't come down to that. There is nothing the Jets would love more than to knock the Bills out of the playoffs since they never recovered from that week 1 loss. Never trust a division rival that has nothing to lose. They will play harder that game than any other this year. Maybe he'll end up like Tannehill. Change of scenery always seems to help a Gase protege.
  8. True, but if you were honest with yourself we all kinda knew the defense was about 2 years in ahead of the offense. Next year we hopefully even it up through FA and the draft. Something tells me we are now a more attractive destination for FA's after what's been displayed this year.
  9. I remember it pretty well. 2nd game of that season. Jimbo had 6 TDs that game IIRC 4 to Beebe, 1 to Reed and 1 to Al Edwards. After that game I remember Berman saying they had over 1100 yards in those first 2 games? What an amazing offense!!
  10. This Sunday should be a proud moment for his parents. He has 2 brothers that play for the Steelers (Trey is a RB and Terrell is a Safety). Imagine being a dad watching your sons playing pro football on the same field. Chills and goosebumps............ Followed by a tear running down the right cheek.
  11. Their Offensive Line was more dominant than ours yesterday. By a lot................ Ours looked like trash.
  12. I'd keep Knox around just to watch his powerful stiff arm face plants on opposing tacklers. Good stuff right there.
  13. That was the best defensive performance to date against the Ravens by any team all season long and that's what Moss comes away with? Lamar jukes out a lot of players on his way to his team scoring 40 plus and over 200 yards rushing,........... except for this past Sunday.
  14. Caption. Belicheck: The Force is strong with this Bill named Tre.?
  15. He's been a much better pass catcher than expected. His big knock coming out was his receiving skills. BTW, that was a tough catch for any receiver. Let's get on Beasley and Knox while we're at it.
  16. No team has beaten a playoff team this season. The schedule doesn't work that way.
  17. Of all NFL players who've played at least 11 games this season the leader in kick return average is..........Andre Roberts! 26.8 AVG He's doing his job....
  18. It's his math that sucks, it's his skill at seeing the future.
  19. Not a bad suggestion considering we all thought the purpose of having Gore in the game is for short yardage situations to pick up first downs. We now know our O line isn't good enough to push a defense back when their expecting it. Gore isn't plowing through that line anyway. They're still awhile away from being an imposing unit. Ford and Dawkins are underwhelming and Morse is best in pass protection and pulling. Feliciano is pretty good and Spain is JAG.
  20. Brady is done after this season. He looks slow and beaten.
