Sal has actually played and coached football. He was a high school football coach before returning to the area. He understands the game better than anybody else I've heard on WGR. Maybe he doesn't have scoops, but to say he doesnt have good football insight isnt correct. Having scoops and picking games doesn't correlate at all. The projection came from WGR. Who else at that station has any real football background beyond watching it?

Its not hard to wrap my head around it at all. I actually agree with the NFL on it, especially the bit about betting on football. What I don't agree with the NFL on is making the punishment for gambling on other sports more severe than physically harming another human being. This is the third time that we know of with this guy.
