That was my point. Also, I totally agree with you about CB depth, and the need to restock in this draft. Bryce Hall is in my crosshairs as a CB I definitely want in the 2nd or 3rd. Not disagreeing with you on that. I just hate that people hold up the Jets game as an indicator, while white-washing all the context out of their argument. Yes. Yes, I do remember exactly when McKenzie had to play CB last year. It was when Tre White was inactive, and Levi Wallace got injured. If you believe that Tre White will be inactive--outside of injury or resting because we have the AFCE tied up with a bow--then I, good sir, believe that you are a ninny. Current CB depth: Tre White, Levi Wallace, Josh Norman, Taron Johnson, Siran Neal, Cam Lewis.

I agree, but I also think that Beane wants next year's 4th rounder back. Picks in the current year are generally worth one round higher in the next. He could trade the 7th and a 6th (this year) for a 5th, then trade this year's 5th for a 4th next year. That would leave us with: 2020 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th 2021 - Full slate (haven't looked into any moves, beyond the 2021 4th we traded for Diggs). Those 4th rounders are valuable to Beane, and I have to believe he will be on the hunt to bring 2021's back.

It's also rather mysterious that PFF rates all of our roster's PLAYERS as trash, and yet, somehow our ROSTER is top 5 in the NFL... Got me feeling like ???

EDIT: The 4th and 5th rounder would have been packaged, with 22, to trade up for Lamb or Jeudy. And, while both appear to be potential elite talents, Diggs is proven elite, and has 4 years at an avg around 11 million... For a #1? That's pocket change, now, and the price will only go up! Good deal, in that light.
