Sorry. I probably should have started a thread that had to do with how bad Taylor was, what happens if Peterman sucks, why Taylor should be starting or why Peterman should be starting for a healthy debate..... I haven't seen any of those lately.

I don't have a very subjective view of taylor at all man.... that's what most of you don't get. you think anyone that doesn't agree with the benching or your view on taylor has a hard on for him. and theres some irony in that after what you just said. I don't think EVERYONE who likes the benching wanted to bills to lose so it would happen. in fact i'm willing to hear a solid argument about it. as for my thoughts on taylor.....I wanted the bills to draft a qb high last year or in 18 even if taylor had a solid year. taylor can win games with support. he's been efficient and makes the occasional big play. when the defense was playing well we saw how valuable his type of efficient mistake free football can be. a recipe for success when the defense and run game shows up. when it doesn't we lose becuz he's just not good enough to carry that burden. the problem I see is when those other breakdowns happen all of sudden taylor sucks and has the whole time and "I told you so" and blah blah blah "I was right you were wrong" "he's been figured out" "he'll never win another game"....... meanwhile there are plenty of those people that weren't anywhere to be found 2 weeks ago.

my bud just text me a vid of the same dude that made "shady's night" earlier this year doing a remake of "it takes TWO to make a think go right" for Peterman...... somebody needs to find that and post it. i'm not good with that sort of thing. lol

do you think taylor was a detriment during the first 7 games as whole? if your answer is yes. then i'd say we're done here becuz there's nothing left to talk about. as we are clearly in 2 different galaxies on the topic. I prefer to look at taylors season as a whole and not a 2 game sample size. now obviously he had been trending in the wrong direction. but all these people bloviating about how he should have been benched the whole time and wasn't any good all year(I could be mistaken but I feel I've seen such things from you) are just out of their gourds IMO. also I find it funny that apparently the majority thinks a 5th round rookie is just gonna step in and out perform him.... like I said in numerous other posts. i'll freaking cheer my ass of for Peterman. i'm not tied to one player on this team but i'm not holding my breath on that notion, my man.

Before this week I thought I knew the answer to that but with how quiet certain people were during wins and now with all the I told you so’s with the benching I’m seriously and honestly beginning to wonder.

becuz smith didn't primarily ride a defense and run game in san fran and then do basically the same thing until this year in KC?..... just like i said in a prior post. one has had the luxury of elite defense(and elite coaching that i didn't originally mention but cant be ignored) on the other side while the other hasn't. you literally removed all the context out of what i had said. very convenient. good talk bro. you are one of my favorites. this week has really brought out the best. like i said before. i seriously think tyrods, and the teams, solid start had certain posters squirming becuz they wanted nothing more than to just be right and be rid of him.

oh my. that could be argued for so many winning qb's through history. come on man.... i see taylor as alex smith of 4 years ago. one had an elite d and run game year in and year out and the other hasn't. taylor has won more than he's lost and he's not had a good defense behind him for most of that duration. all of sudden he has a 50 yd game and people act like that's what he'll do the rest of his career. good lord man, some are claiming he wont win another game. COME ON.

and what exactly are 5th round rookies known for? more good than bad? PUH-LEASE..... i guess this whole argument hinges on if you think a rookie will come in and actually be any good. sorry not buying it. with that said. my fanhood isn't tied to taylor nor has it been tied to any other player in my life so i wait in anticipation to see what happens tomorrow and will be all in for Peterman or whomever else is starting.... i just find comical that people are buying in so hard on a rook.

if this is what you gleaned from taylor and the team in general over the first 7 games i'm honestly blown away. nothing to discuss. so much YES here... that poster is just absurd. the guy has won more than he's lost and had way more average to good games than he has had bad ones and now all of sudden after 2 losses and a 50 yd game that's apparently all he'll be able to muster the rest of his career.... i don't understand how people can spew garbage like that onto a keyboard and not see how stupid it is.

if there was a time for the benching it would be now. i agree..... but people talking about how they knew this all along and they are upset it took 2 bad games to get it done just look idiotic.... so when should he have gotten benched? maybe after he brought them from behind against the bucs? or maybe the blowout win against the raiders? i laugh when they say they are mad it took so long.

again. i'm fully convinced after reading over the last week that there were people literally squirming during tyrod and the teams solid start that's sad to me.... say what you want about the last 2 games but the guy played solid ball the first 7 games. you're ticked it took 2 bad games? so you are saying you wanted him benched after a 5-2 start and generally good set of games to start his season? i also find that extremely alarming. ftr. i'm not a tyrod "lover" or a member of the COT.... whatever that even stands for. i actually wanted a qb early in 18 regardless of if taylor played solid ball or not. but the people basking in this benching are freaking pathetic and sad. all for the sake of being proven right..... and honestly. i still wouldn't even say they are right. taylor has had a ton more average/good games than he has had bad ones. and he wins more than he loses.

After reading through a bit of this thread and the board in general I honestly feel like certain posters were hating our 5-2 start and the generally solid play during the first 7 games...... which is extremely pathetic and sad. Almost undertones of being happy about the recentt implosion of the TEAM just becut it got Taylor benched

I don't disagree with you. but I find it funny that when the same argument is brought up for another certain qb on the roster it gets crucified routinely.

wait so let me get this straight. am I reading this right? the 2 game lose streak where the whole team melts down isn't a big enough deal to mock the coach but its enough to bench the qb that had the same solid start to the season that the coach had? I just wanna make sure we're on the same page.

so again I ask... would making the playoffs be a regression? how is it not trending in the right direction? and why does making the playoffs make our ammo in the draft any less valuable or our future any less bright? I guess this all hinges on the topic of the thread. do you actually think the 5th round rookie pans out. I sure would love to think so as a fan of the team but history tells me not to hold my breath.
