  1. They had the best OL in the league last year, right there with the other Super Bowl team (Philly). If we’re discussing where they’re worse/better…
  2. If we beat KC, I think we’re going to the Super Bowl. Nothing about this blowout of an upstart, minimally talented Texans team should change the way we feel about Baltimore. We know how to handle Lamar, and our OL, QB, Weapons are not .. at all.. what Houston threw at them.
  3. The special teams impact on this game is massive so far.
  4. Texans defense looks like it solved that one drive where they let Lamar just run into open field all drive. Now they just need to smack some sense into their OL at halftime.
  5. Stroud is playing ok.. not great, he’s been fine. Getting let down a lot by those around him, but he left a lot to be desired on those last two plays.
  6. Houston’s OL is nonexistent
  7. Houston is officially on my nerves this game
  8. Houston is aware that Lamar is a mobile QB, correct?
  9. Dudes out here banging 50 yarders in the cold wind, meanwhile I’d rather go for it on any 4th and short/medium on the plus side of the field at this point.
  10. Stroud needs to slap these dudes upside the head
  11. Lamar is taking some big hits back there today
  12. Devin McCaffrey out here
  13. It would be roster malpractice to not elevate Klein regardless of Bernard’s availability. Even if he goes, we’re down Spector as depth and both starting linebackers would be coming off injury.
  14. Stroud played at Ohio State Hes not an SEC guy who got drafted to Houston
  15. Agreed for the most part, but Elam is that guy you speak of.. he’s an elite prospect, but the decision-making/processing part is taking time.
  16. Think Ravens win, but rooting for a Lamar collapse. Nothing personal, as he’s an exciting player and seems like a great dude, but the obnoxious narrative juxtaposition between the media’s view of him and Allen gets the best of me here.
  17. The way this staff coaches up and develops secondary players, I’d love them take a couple Safeties early Day 3. 4/5th Round Offense almost completely comes back, minus Gabe. Draft a WR early and then go heavy Defense for the rest of the Draft.. DL & Safety maybe a short yardage big back later on to go with Cook & Ty. …but I’d prioritize earlier picks on DL. If Safety is a weak spot next year, so be it… we’re loaded at CB & LB.. especially if Tre restructures to avoid being a cut candidate. Any money we are able to free up, I’d rather spend on Jones and 1 of Floyd/AJE.
  18. Agreed. Even if Bernard is a go, you’ve got to call up Klein for insurance.
  19. That’s been a common theme this year.. We don’t run away from teams because we inevitably do something dumb when we’re about to.
  20. I expect Baltimore to win this game. I expect Lamar to play well. That being said.. The last time we saw this team play was three weeks ago, and Lamar’s regular season success has yet to translate to the postseason. Big time legacy game for Jackson today. He cannot have a meh game and lose to the Texans.
  21. Makes sense also. Who plays outside in this scenario? Are we bringing a Safety down to cover one of Rice, Watson, Hardman, MVS? Sub-packages with Elam? One thing they did against Miami, because Vic Fangio has no idea how to stop crossers apparently, was literally run crossers all day … Rice is a YAC monster if he gets the ball in space.
  22. Will we have Douglas travel with Rice? If he’s up to it, that seems like the obvious move. Rice is good, but he isn’t a burner like Hill.. seems like the perfect WR1 to have Douglas follow around all game.
  23. Agreed. I saw a post on X today pointing out how we think these guys are all healthy, yet it seems like half of them .. even those not in the injury report .. end up getting some kind of surgery after the season ends. The post was in regards to Maxx Crosby, who was a beast all season.. even down to the end.. yet there he is today, posting a post-op pic with a brace on his leg in a hospital bed. KC injuries don’t come close to ours, especially if you factor in Milano and Tre, but they are down their starting Safety for much of the year and their starting DT next to Jones, who went down against Miami. Also, still down Skyy Moore, whatever one thinks of him.
  24. Orlovsky picked KC and stated it’s due to our injuries. Valid concern, but as of now, we’re only down Gabe, Rapp, Benford and Spector. Gabe is a decent player but strangely enough, our offense may be more efficient without him. Rapp was really coming on as Dime Safety, but Cam Lewis is solid in that role. Benford is a good CB2, but Dane is more than capable to hold that spot down. Spector looks like he belongs out there, but has been depth/st’s all year. We’ll see how the injury report shakes out, but those guys are not the difference between winning and losing. Bernard, if he can’t go, starts to lean more into impact players. And Taron Johnson definitely qualifies. However… if Taron gets cleared.. most teams in this league would trade for a Defense that features: Leonard Floyd, Greg Rousseau, Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Rasul Douglas, Taron Johnson, Jordan Poyer & Micah Hyde .. even with a potential weakness at linebacker.
