i dont want to meet the ravens. mostly due to Jackson. really difficult to defend him. u dont have to worry about downfield unless u leave a guy wide open, but his running and throwing medium routes on the run puts any defense in a bind. peeps saying Baltimore is good again, meh, they havent beat anybody worthwhile in 6 weeks. still, i would def worry about facing Jackson.

some college coaches do fine in the NFL. the guys who dont, are the control freaks, who try to treat the NFL players like college kids. that doesnt fly in the pros. that was Sabans problem in Miami, and that would be Myers problem as well. add to the fact the college coaches from big time programs control everything, in the pros they have to work with GMs, owners, and some players who actually have more power than they do. Parcells, one of the all time greats, had trouble in certain spots when he couldnt control everything that he wanted to and he spent most of his time in the pros, he knew the game.

being an Ohio State fan ive watched every snap of Fields' college career. What ive learned is, nothing. He plays with top talent at nearly every position. The 2 games he struggled in, one, im not sure what his problem was, the most recent BigTen championship game, he hurt his throwing thumb rather early. I get the hate for OSU QBs, they dont pan out in the NFL, ever. Its probably more about system and the talent around them. Id take a kid from a pro system who struggled but has the measurables (Allen) over the guy who had the best of everything and comes from a non thinking system (Spread). thats just me tho. Is Fields bad? hard to tell. Is Lawrence great? nobody really knows. I do take issue with the "media" being all in on Fields one week, then throwing him in the trash heap the week later without mentioning his injury and how it affected him.

if i was a Jets fan, id be very upset right now. that being said, the players never want to tank, especially if it means 0-16. nobody wants that stigma attached to them. not an ideal situation for anybody.
