  1. What team has a an all pro at Wr 4-6? Hollins is a NFL wr. Thats 4. Shorter, Shaver, Hamler, and Isabella fighting for the final spot. Not terrible.
  2. Back up nickel/ return man. I think many wanted a wr/return man but not much behind Johnson. A late day 3 pick with a path to the 53 is hard to argue with.
  3. Best way to make Maye less a project? Draft a bigger one. Real mega brain stuff in NE.
  4. Is Coker still available? Might be a contestant at 204 at wr.
  5. Carter is likley starting in 25 and is playing 50% of the snaps this season. Franklin would be bottom of the wr room and is not contributing any way on special teams. If they want a deep threat. Sign DJ Chark.
  6. By not drafting another wr could have a path for highest UDFA. Beane has been methodical with filling needs. Coleman, Bishop, Carter, Davis are all playing as rookies. The rest all have a shot to play. Not as flashy as some wanted but 2 day 1 starters, 2 guys day one play meaningful snaps on offense and defense is a good draft.
  7. Maybe Hamler has juice left. Hurt and never able to create a role in Denver. At this point does a wr drafted in rd 6 beat out Hamler, Isabella or Shorter? Assume the pecking order is Samuel, Shakir, Coleman, Hollins than those 3.
  8. At this point they need to have return ability or willingness to play special teams.
  9. If your double dipping wr I think you do it here. Needs are pretty covered. Think Rice and Washington wont make to the 3rd 5th pick.
  10. I see it. Not flashy but a good player. He will be a solid back. Pairs well with Cook. Better bigger body backs in the class.
  11. Very good compliment to Cook. Imo very quickly surpasses Johnson. Can do it all and big enough for short yardage work.
  12. I predict a deep threat wr, Rb, Edge as the primary targets. Think they leave the draft with 7 to 8 draft picks. I would trade up for Kamara from Colorado St. and for a deep threat Wr. Let a Rb fall to them and olineman.
  13. Duke had a bit of a turnaround. Believe he was a 3 year captain. Mcbeane guy. Disruptive guy and imo backs up Ed this year and could develop into Jones replacement. Great pick.
  14. His route running is projection. That slant he houses vs LSU. Not the route but the move he puts on the safety. Teach him the proper foot and technique for a route and his body control shows he can put his foot in the ground and make the cut. Second part 10 yard split. 90% of routes is getting off the line and cut. Be shows the ability to cut without wasted movement. His 10 yards split indicates he can accelerate off the line and out of the cut.
  15. I think the 10 yard split is more translatable to NFL football than the full 40. Coleman’s was in line with the top part of the class. Now pair that with proposed game speed and he has the potential to be more than a possession wr with red zone jump ball ability. He is not a lumbering runner and is surprisingly fluid. He develops into a route runner he could become a top level wr. He is not that out of the box. None of the wrs after the top 3 are. Route running is coachable. I thinks its a good gamble.
  16. The big question mark is speed. He doesnt have linear speed like some others have. Im not going to get into game speed or GOS testing. Combine is public and everyone can access. His 10 yard split is above average. It is in line or better than guys that ran 4.4 or better. For route running and majority of concepts he will be fine. I see that. Allen Robinson was a productive wr with some rough passing games.
  17. Really like his age. His athleticism is off the charts. Being a multi sport athlete and playing for a premier basketball program shows just that. I think him concentrating solely on football later than the other prospects lends to more potential. He is as fluid a wr in the draft. His body control and way he runs with the ball tells you he has the physical tools to develop into a high end route runner. I see him as a bigger more athletic Stevie Johnson. Many people are looking for a Diggs replacement. Imo that role is being given to Shakir. They were looking to replace Davis. Coleman is that.
  18. I was vocal against him. Picking up a 3rd and get him im in. Those that wanted a power forward type. He played basketball at Michigan State. Looks the part and does the things Shakir and Samuels dont. Solid pick at the spot.
  19. Double dip at 60 and the room is much better.
  20. Bilichick was asked this exact question on why would Buffalo trade with the Chiefs. Basically, what you said. You do whats best for your team. This point your not concerned with what any other organization is doing. With Buffalo’s track record they have a plan and have earned the benefit to see what that plan is.
