  1. And you still just can’t get me out of your mind. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
  2. The war is about Putin trying to restore the Russian Empire / USSR. It’s why he invaded Georgia. It’s why he invaded Ukraine in 2014. It’s why he invaded Ukraine this time. It’s why he probably would invade Transnistria if he is successful in Ukraine. That’s it. That’s why there is a war. The question is, what do we want to do about it? You seem to be fine with Putin steamrolling sovereign nations. I think it’s in our strategic interest to deter such actions.
  3. I 100% agree. It’s just that this isn’t how it actually plays out most of the time.
  4. Please provide the metrics that you state show there is not less corruption.
  5. Please let me know of all of the trials in which Trump has been found not guilty. I also suggest actually reading the Mueller Report because you seem to think it said something it never said.
  6. Every country is corrupt. Ukraine had a big Russia-like history of corruption. But after 2014, they moved towards wanting to join the West and have started tamping down on it. It still exists, but at least it’s no longer sanctioned. When there’s a bust in Ukraine for corruption, it’s evidence of their history of corruption but also evidence of their recent goal to root it out. It’s very weird that the people shouting about Ukraine corruption keep parroting propaganda from Moscow, which we all know cannot possibly be corrupt…
  7. Still can’t stop thinking about me, huh? When you wake up, in the middle of the day, you just can’t keep me out of your mind. It’s quite flattering! 🥰🥰🥰
  8. We could fill a very small thimble with what you know about the law. Maybe. There might be a little room left over for what little life you seem to have.
  9. I’m sorry you don’t understand how the legal process works, but that’s a you problem.
  10. Lots of reasons, depending on the potential crimes and jurisdictions. Difficulty: White collar crimes are much harder to investigate and secure a conviction on than other types of crimes. There is often an intent component that may be difficult to prove and targets can often afford high power defense attorneys that make potential trials difficult. This is even more the case for Trump. Obstruction: The Trump camp regularly and routinely obstructs investigations. Even now, they are paying for the attorneys for people being targeted by investigators in the hope of keeping them from flipping. There are allegations that at least one of the lawyers did not tell their ostensible client that a deal was offered as it would have the client flip on Trump OLC memo: When he was president, the DoJ would not indict him. Mueller said he could exonerate Trump if he felt that Trump did not commit crimes, but did not do so. Instead, he listed out multiple instances of crimes Trump committed and indicated that the proper remedy was impeachment Politics: The Dems stupidly rested their hopes on Mueller instead of doing the work themselves. Then they chickened out. When Garland stepped into office, he could have indicted Trump for the multiple instances of obstruction of justice that Mueller had outlined, but he declined to do so. Also, indicting a former president is a big deal. Losing a case here isn't the same as losing one against some random person. Law enforcement probably wants to be as close to 100% of a conviction as possible before indicting him. Even if they think there's an 80% chance they win, that might not be enough to warrant the risk. Time: Some of these investigations take a very long time. The Mar-A-Lago documents case is very straightforward, but in order to properly prepare for trial, Jack Smith needs to interview every potential person who may have information, from the people close to Trump down to the janitorial staff and visitors to the building. That takes time. He's been indicted in Manhattan. He will almost certainly be indicted in Georgia and he will also very likely be indicted by Jack Smith. Of course, people will always find a way to defend him saying it's political, but applying the publicly known facts of each case to the law and the only reason he *wouldn't* be indicted would be politics. Any one of us would have already been indicted if we had done what he did.
  11. It’s bizarre. I get tagged in random threads all of the time by people who apparently have nothing better to do with their time than try to stir up drama. SAD!
  12. Are you referring to me sharing a notice released by the police? That means I’m seeing Nazis everywhere? Reposting something from the police? Dear lord. Go touch some grass.
  13. WTF are you talking about? Why just make up stuff about people? Don’t you have a life or better things to do?
  14. No, it’s not. Trump is not the same level of regular old corruption. He is a walking, talking, whirling dervish of crime and fraud.
  15. This is one of my favorite conspiracies. Just absolute classic garbage from the brain worms crowd. They seem to believe that despite a concerted plot to stop the certification of votes, law enforcement should do absolutely nothing about it. Also, it supposes that your friendly neighborhood MAGA person was a peaceful rally goer but so susceptible and ignorant that the mere presence of someone saying they should storm the Capitol somehow brainwashed them into crimes. The through-line is: we are so dumb and prone to violence that an undercover officer can turn us into a crazed mob. Therefore, it is law enforcement’s fault that we tried to kill members of Congress. Also, if there is a terrorist plot, it would be bad for law enforcement to try to gain human sources on the inside. Classic case of telling on yourself.
  16. Trump is almost certainly culpable of many crimes but I remain skeptical that he will be charged with or convicted of seditious conspiracy.
  17. It’s so sweet how you wake up thinking about me 🥰🥰🥰
  18. Yup, this was one of the worst deals anyone has ever done. Mayor Daley sold the parking meters for quick cash to support political allies.
  19. When have I said “racism?” I want to get to the root causes and address those. When people just say “it’s black people” that’s not a root cause, so I ask for clarification or point that out. I don’t recall calling anyone racist. When have I said to ban guns? Well this is just garbage and ignorant nonsense. Dems want violence??? Get out of your bubble, it’s rotting your brain.
  20. Yes, and what happened after that? I’ll give you a hint: it starts with an “S” and ends with a “outhern strategy”
  21. 'She went out peacefully' | Boyfriend, child were in bed with woman when she was killed by stray bullet  Bethany Mefford leaves behind three boys, all of which are under the age of 7. “The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said Mefford was sleeping when a stray bullet went through her bedroom wall around 2:30 Wednesday morning. A neighbor allegedly fired up to 15 times at suspected car burglars in the parking lot of their apartment complex but ended up killing the beloved mother and partner.”
