...agreed...think the last one to go at #9 was Ebron (thought he was Bflo's pick vs Sammy) and look how long it's taken him to show up....could see McBeane trading down in the 1st to grab an extra 2nd......probably has his TE candidates graded out as 1, 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, etc.....perhaps marginal differences on the finer points....DL with the 1st(OL later because of FA activity IMO) and possibly a TE with the second 2nd......STRICTLY opinion and who the hell knows with him?......probably stays put at 9, selects a punter and casts TBD into TOTAL meltdown.....

...bonafide TE is probably the higher priority (I hope)........

..great assessment RB....maybe I'm WAAAAY off, but McBeane gives me the impression as a master planner.....hell it wouldn't surprise me if he already has a preliminary 2020 landscape drawn up including potential draftees, scenarios where Bflo may pick as well as possible UFA's......agree with addressing DL but think he moves down to grab an extra 2nd.....bet his list has 1, 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, etc , all with fairly close grades as players are selected...OR...maybe the same for OL, but FA signings may indicate differently.....he could always move back into the late 1st with a pick package if he felt it was necessary....think this guy and his staff of 17+ know their stuff......light years ahead of the post Polian "F Troop" runnin' the clown show.....

...from his troubled days, UDFA selection and then cut by the Rams, kid chose the CFL to get his act together......and by most accounts, he has worked hard at it....I'm CERTAIN( opinion) that McDermott laid down the law as far as the "process" conditions of his signing....probably his LAST shot at his ultimate NFL dream......heed the warning lad just like Foster did...you'll be a helluva lot better off....good luck and "show us"....stay tuned........
