I think I would be ok with a total collapse this year, but knowing the Bills could possibly have TWO QB's they can win with as they improve the roster around them. If the Bills start out badly, I would be open to trading McCoy and/or Clay for draft picks, but the cap may not allow that to happen.

Don't worry about the starter (whomever that is)................ the back ups will be on HIGH ALERT with this historically bad OL the Bills will be trotting out. Vlad alone is a disaster at LG and a season killer right there. It infuriates me that Vlad has a spot on this roster. It is my biggest complaint about McDermott. An orange cone is more useful than Vlad.

Why hasn't Vlad been cut yet? I would cut Mills too and just go with McDermott. What the hell do the Bills have to lose by doing this?

No, yesterday showed that no QB would look good if they had only 1.5 seconds to throw. i agree that Allen doesn’t need to be force fed here, but Allen handled himself pretty well facing that onslaught yesterday. Even if Peterman starts the season, Allen’s going to be seeing action rather quickly because Peterman is going to get killed behind this OL.......... and then Allen will get killed......... then McCarron will get killed when he becomes healthy enough to get injured again. Who’s gonna be the fourth QB to get hurt?

To be honest, all religions suck. If you and/or I love God, it's best to practice your faith privately. This way you keep out of trouble. My wife loves God, but she never goes to church. She does her thing at home and she stays completely out of trouble. I wish this could work for everyone with faith.

I will say this. 2 retirements and the trading of Glenn meant the Bills had to keep Vlad on this roster, force Miller to start and an uninspiring battle to ensue at C. There is precedent to a bad OL derailing an entire season. Ask the 2017 New York Giants. I am no fan of overreacting to preseason, but the OL looks frighteningly bad. All this means is that the QB’s and the RB’s had better prepare to get crushed and there is very little doubt that one (or more) of them will be lost to season-ending injuries. Right now, the OL is going to destroy this season.

I think the plan for today's game is to see if Allen can take NFL hits. If that is the plan for today, it is certainly working.
