Fan Approval Ratings - Front office
Gunsgoodtime replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with both of you, the least excited for this year as far as I can remember. I bought front row seats to the Panthers game, I would have not paid this big money I did if I knew everything that has taken place was going to happen. I could easily sell them, but I have a fellow Bills fan flying in from Ohio and I'm not going to do that to him -

A bit early for this, either way my votes in for so far -
This is how epically bad we are.

Exactly, keep what good talent you have and build on it, not get rid of it and make the team worse, there is a much larger uphill battle at this point, now you have to replace the talent you lost while trying to get better at other positions as well. The most difficult task possible -

I'm going to the objective of this I guess. Sammy was on the cheap and would have been nice to see what he could do this year, the only player remaining with star type qualities at wr. Gave him away for a lesser talent and a 2nd, cost 2 1st and a 4th? Not to mention let Woods walk and Goodwin, no remaining recievers on the team from previously causing no chemistry with the qb this year. Darby is a good cb and a good pick, gave him away for a lesser talent and a 3rd. Oh yeah he was young and cheap too, and we already lost our best cb before him. Ragland...the only one I'm ok with because he didn't fit, but still got a future 4th and we gave a 2nd Gillisle was probably a mistake with a team that features the run game. Kujo should have been kept and the team will suffer, who cares about one drunken crazy night, most of us has had them and he showed true value last year in a position we are suffering dearly at. Not a fan of letting Zach Brown go, would have been great in this defense imo and someone we didn't replace and he won't expensive at all, thank he was signed for less than lorax. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting. I guess my point is I don't agree with the moves and think the plan will fail. I hope I'm wrong. I did like the move back in the draft to get an extra 1st next year, so there's that I guess. I like the a white pick and Zay pick. Time will tell, but I think it's going to be ugly. Peterman so far seems like a good pick for a 5th -

Agreed. Not a fan of almost any of the moves this year, with a be Ragland being an ok move because he didn't fit. I hope the plan works out but my money is on it fails and on year 20 without playoffs, we will look back and hate this regime for what they did. Jmo -
Has McDermott Pulled a CHIP KELLY?

It has certainly crossed my mind -
Yup. We stand a good chance of losing to them this year as well

No way he survives to the bye week healthy, I say we are on our 4th qb at that point You must not be part of the Bbmb alumni -
Dareus sent home for violating a team rule
Gunsgoodtime replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you and I don't disagree with you. Its just a matter of who you are and how you handle it, everyone is different. Unfortunately I just don't think Dareus is one who handles it well, and it hurts me to say that because I know he is a great player -
Dareus sent home for violating a team rule
Gunsgoodtime replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I did a number 2 on the bus they would cut my ass on the spot and leave me on the side of the road! But seriously no excuses for him at this point, I had a terrible childhood and I don't get the tissues out for him because of his story. I think people that were brought up normal or good give Dareus the pass due to his earlier life.....dont.... he is making his own decisions at this point,I literally have no one in life now and I'm just a bit older than Dareus, but I manage to succeed without anyone's empathy. I became an adult when I turned 18,unfortunately some never do. -
Any human being willing to risk his life behind this Oline is who I would go with. Count me out.

The Q.B. controversy is on
Gunsgoodtime replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Umm no...it's not. I'm not even going to read through the thread. The only controversy going on right now is what qb is willing to risk his life behind this Oline and is Dareus's brain bigger than a peanut. Those are the real controversies -
Bills signed Eric Wood to two year extension
Gunsgoodtime replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way too much money for Wood imo. I am no fan of the moves with the new regime so far. Future will tell, but my money is they are making failing moves so far, I'm entitled to my opinion at least. I hope I am wrong and are doing things a way that I can't see -

I had a rough road in life, very rough. I learned at a very early adult age I wanted to do better than the way I grew up. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Dareus needs to go as soon as his horrific contract allows it I agree with the culture and talent part, but talent is no good when you are constantly missing games from just plain out being stupid. He is nowhere near close to worth his contract -
So why didn't we keep Scwartz? I guess Rex thought he was going to improve the defense lol. I just don't get it. There is a reason for the 17 year playoff drought. Working well? Break it let's fix it? Working bad? Let's fix it. Its some of the stupidest **** I have ever seen to change something that works well
