  1. Absolutely no reason any level headed human should feel otherwise. Gonna be a lot of victory ***** tonight... players and fans alike.
  2. This is a thing of beauty... congrats Blues. LOL, is Brad crying?
  3. That's the GM's fault. Gawd I hope the Blues shut these Boston ***** OUT. LMAO!!! Hahahahahahahahahahah.... Good night Irene!!!
  4. Never understood why some are so down on ROR... dude was smart to get the hell out of Buffalo, the Sabres are underwhelming and have been for years.
  5. Technically I didn't actually say that.
  6. Text him again... "Now I'm thinking shutout".
  7. There was no electricity involved with the original blues masters... Oh I agree that the blues "type" of sound is still around but the original blues masters are long gone. I'll take what I can get nowadays... which is usually 60's and up on vinyl. Youtube has a lot of clips of the true blues men too.
  8. The old blues sound has been gone for decades... unless you're listening to 30's, 40's music from way back. What we hear now is watered down, basically "I'm trying to sound like those guys with an instrument made post 1980" or so.
  9. I know, but you can't mention everyone I guess. Hooker in a way is the last of the old blues guard imo. Savoy Brown.
  10. Rolling Stone is a mere shadow of what it once was. John Mayall. Prince I find hard to mix into the blues. Fleetwood Mac would have been a better option to compare newer blues. The old blues I don't think many are doing anymore... hard to replicate that sound and feeling.
  11. Ahh... the good old days. Never heard a Judy Collins version of it, I'll have to youtube that.
  12. Someone above mentioned Zappa and I agree... here is a nice article if you have a few minutes to spare: https://www.loudersound.com/features/frank-zappa-people-thought-the-beatles-were-god-that-s-not-correct?fbclid=IwAR1XvgB3CopHBu3sYu9jwilt3Dm31D6oIQ1bOMnvtbSySdJjYB4_c87L-gs Quadrophenia is an excellent example as well as Fripp's King Crimson, mostly during the 70's for my taste but all of it really is very complex. One name I haven't seen mentioned unless I missed it is Mike Oldfield. Tubular Bells isn't something you hack out on a piano in a few hours... this took a Lot of work not in just composing it but also finding the right musicians to be able to actually play it. Guy was just 19 at the time as well...
  13. Sunday funday... hope it happens.
  14. At this point I couldn't care... as long as the Blues have a chance to win it at home is all that matters here.
  15. Hope you are wrong... looking forward to tonight's game, the intensity level should be around a 10.
  16. I have a name for it: "Cut and Paste". And this is too busy anyways.
  17. I'm the same man... really don't like being around them either, no matter of "oh he's a big baby" what an owner says. Give me a black lab all day long. I hate those little teacup style dogs too... don't really care what Mimi is wearing or did today or yesterday or ever.
  18. I was going to post something like this: With a 12" round oven baking dish I take one package of Uncle Johns Pride sausage and line the outside with it. In the middle I fill it with small red potato's, corn on the cob and sometimes use parsnips instead of potato's, really can put anything in there. Usually just use garlic powder and cracked black pepper though, trying to cut down on salt. If I'm going to use shrimp I put them in 15 minutes before it is done and do dash those with some Old Bay. 350 for one hour with the lid on. Can make this in 5 minutes.
  19. Not New York, although we went there every summer for the 4th growing up in WNY. Great fireworks display over the lake and the Blue Streak is an excellent wooden coaster. Nice to see they are sort of keeping it the way it was back then. Ever been? http://www.newconneautlakepark.com/index.cfm
