  1. I have a 7' by 5" piece of oak in a corner from that storm that I'll eventually turn into something. Ripped it right out of the middle of the tree. Glad this one is cruising along at a good speed.

  3. Phil fan too, fellow lefty. Who knows, maybe he can pull one out of his ass. Or a really long shot, Fred. The course won't look like we are used to at all, way different time of the year. It'll probably look kind of bland. I'll catch what I can before the Bills game, have to show up at work the next 3 days.

Face looks familiar but I really don't know. Was he ever in a western movie?
  8. That might be the iron from the "sweet meats". Scrapple is something that I can eat 5-6 times a year and it has to be fried crispy. 1/2" slices seem the best.

  11. I like it fried with eggs. My Grandmother way back used to make it and it was really good. Now all I can find is the frozen one that has to thaw before slicing. Its not bad but not like the home made version. Mmm... snouts, ears, innards, fat, seasoning. I figure that if someone can eat Spam they should like scrapple.

  16. As far back as the early 70's my Godmother had the Charles Chips delivered to the house... pretzels, whatever. The truck had all of their products on it so you just shopped in your driveway. This was in Alden. Same with the ice cream, don't remember the company that did that though, could have been Perry's but I really don't remember... right in your driveway.
  17. I can't tell the difference between Heluva and Bison... at least I can get the former down here. Wise original chips are our favorite. Not sure if Charles Chips are still around but they are/were pretty good too.

Described in the "legacy" section could be when Cobain met him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_S._Burroughs

Burroughs would be correct. Guy lived quite a storied life... a lot of people are familiar with The Naked Lunch but he had quite a bit more out there than that.
