Tom Brady, 2021 Sportsman of the Year
Patrick Duffy replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall
Supposedly it was to remain a kept secret, but it's said that it wasn't long at all since arriving to Tampa that Brady began to reveal his true self.... many say he has been seen multiple times as recent as 1 week ago at a club called "The White Swallow" where he only departs at closing time. Witnesses say upon entry everyone is given a welcome ball gag and it's overflowing with men wearing tight leather bondage suits. Brady made it apparent he no longer intends to hide this "other life" of his and is now very outspoken wanting the world to know. -
Agree 100%. He is so bad I feel better with Gilliam on the field by far

I just want to say, whoever the TE2 is on everyone of the teams you listed, I feel really comfortable saying each of them can offer more than what Sweeney does.
-
Did you not catch him just as early as 2 days ago vs Panthers? He had a big drop that him right i his hands. Also saw him blow it on a block. When Knox was injured he wasted that opportunity too. I expect at least a little better.

NBC Boston: Bills are done, Pats make them lick dog *****
Patrick Duffy replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe this gets passed around to everyone in the locker room -
Yeah if KC isn't 1 seed I'd be surprised. And I'm sure there were many that felt the same way after those loses earlier in the season. I never thought they would not make the playoff though, but definitely didn't think they'd be #1 seed again. Hopefully Bills can pull it together at the end here like KC did earlier. Better late than ever, so got to make a move now.

Yeah and also you'll hear some say "the defense isn't about sacks, it's about pressure making QB force throws too quick and make mistakes". It's kinda comes off as if when rushing a QB they aren't trying to get sacks, only get pressure. That's why sack numbers are low. It's planned like that. Both are good but sack #s could come up a little.
-
Oh ok so vaccinated players won't get tested at all now? I thought it was a lot less often, didn't think it was not at all... I must have got mixed up.
-
Well I mean also to be fair, they are still trying to get to the QB to get a sack as much as they can. They are trying to get to the QB with everything they got and sack him or get the ball out every snap. They just don't get there nearly enough resulting in very low sack numbers. I think you would agree with me here....I mean I agree with what you said, I just don't think that's why they aren't getting sacks.

Ok, It seemed like you were talking about the Panthers game in particular in which he went to LT. That's reason I said it was expected he very likely would struggle considering less than 2 days for him to prepare to play a position he isn't familiar with. As for his play at RT, I agree that he started out good and since has had some ups and downs in a few games. Overall he still is better than what Williams has done there this season. I don't know about you, but to me the OL is the best they can do on that side when he's RT and Williams at G.
-
Kinda expected the good possibility he could struggle on that side. I mean he could have done better, I get that and agree, but how high were your expectations?
-
So like..... for instance, game is in 2 or 3 days, a vaccinated player ends up getting it , but is asymptomatic and feeling fine... and doesn't have to be tested....could he play in that upcoming game?

Should Davis start over Sanders going forward?
Patrick Duffy replied to Blainorama5's topic in The Stadium Wall
Many believed Davis would be #2 this season after his success last year. Wonder why it didn't happen? Could it be they weren't sure with how severe his injury was at the time and wanted insurance with Sanders if he was not ready? Or could it be they thought he still wasn't ready and needed a little more development? Who knows, but whatever the case I felt like he did enough last season to get that #2 spot... If a reason was given at some point I either forgot, or missed it, which is very possible. So if anyone knows plz jog my memory -
First of all I expect him to make a catch when ball hits his hands, 2nd, I would expect him not to miss blocks like he has. I'm not saying I don't expect mistakes from him, but lets be real here, I'm not exaggerating when I say he has flushed the few opportunities that he has gotten this season down the toilet. It's sad and I hate it for him, but that's the truth
-
Yeah I mean if Obada having more playing time is what gave the spark for the Dline playing well yesterday, then try it again. I thought they were great and getting pressure, flying all around. Need more of that going forward for sure.
-
So with the new rules or whatever, as long as they are vaccinated and are asymptomatic they can play Sunday? Do I have that right?
-
Yeah, we will see how they handle when Sanders returns, but I think the difference from last year and now is that this time Davis has helped the redzone offense improve and percentage a little better than it was few weeks ago. That's what has been needed and lately Josh finds him and Davis delivers. That's very important

I too am expecting one of those physical, brutal battle intensive games. I used bold for the "embarrassed" you said here because I think that particular term has lingered in the minds of the Bills Defense (especially Hyde and Poyer) After the loss vs Pats the 1st game they took offense to that very word when answering media questions. Now if there's a single person that doesn't believe Bills haven't been foaming at the mouth for this rematch along with "embarrassed" still as fresh in their mind as the day the guy said it, I'd say you couldn't be more wrong... I feel confident this D will be as ready as they ever have for this match up. Looking forward to it myself..
