I'm with you here....has always seemd to just kinda come off as a bit strange to me and some sort of an attention seeking type thing. Was same on BBMB back in the day with many of the posts you would see. Was a whole lot of just repeating same thing over and over type of post with different wording once in a while. Talked about the 2014 game (believe it was) on and on for 2-3 years posting same statements over and over again where Bills won and Rambo INT Rodgers. You're right about doing same on many other teams boards because I've seen it multiple times, saying same type of things as here. Anyways, I've never insulted him or talked down to him as a poster or anything....it has just always seemed strange to me lol

I know you listed your logic, my point is that your logic doesn't make sense. but to each their own....
-
Not the fans fault their team decided to bring in Watson. Many of their fans were not too happy about it themselves. But your team is still your team.... So doesn't make any sense why you would say they are not included when talking fan bases in general...imo they have had it the worst other than maybe the Lions. So I'd say Browns fans/Lions fans would be my choice

This is one of the areas I think is more important to address if trading picks that are of any value. While the OL has been fairly decent I'd prefer see what could be done there 1st

Josh Allen and the Quest for 6,000 Yards

Ok I see now. I thought it was 6000 passing yards. Didn't know it was including rushing. My bad -
If you could only have 1 (Beckham or McCaffrey)
Patrick Duffy replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can get both sides of those wanting him and those who prefer passing. Just curious, seems like you would prefer getting him...so my question is how high of a pick would you be comfortable giving up for him? Are you confident enough in his availability that he will stay healthy enough to get to and through playoffs? What would be your best offer you would give for him with that in mind? -
A Few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
Patrick Duffy replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just wanted to jump in on this particular subject here....I'm definitely with you about the magic both these QBs do game in and game out. It's clearly (or should be crystal clear) that these 2 QB's are the best in the league right now and by a very good size margine. There's no Rodgers, Brady etc even worth mentioning anymore and their time has passed. There's no Herbert, or any other QB in the league right now that's even close enough to discussing. I feel after that KC game with the show Josh put on he has (at the moment that is) made some of those that had P.Mahomes at 1 and Josh 2 to switch it around. But both are neck and neck and everyone else is JV -
Josh Allen and the Quest for 6,000 Yards
Patrick Duffy replied to ArtVandalay's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thought he was around 325-330ypg? Not sure but he will have games where he has 250yds then next 350 and as he has shown up to400. I don't see him at 6000, however I do think it's a solid chance to break Brees"s record. 6000 is crazy numbers and would take a LOT of passing attempts and basically no running the ball ever..... -
Agree that I'd prefer they pass on him. My reasons differ from yours though, for me chemistry isn't the issue. For me it's multiple things such as lack of confidence in him remaining healthy, also would not want to spend a valuable draft pick, and also Devin is playing better than some may have expected in both rushing and receiving. Devin is very reliable and don't think he's missed a game yet if I'm not mistaken. Cook is coming along slowly but surely. So it's just more important things to address if making a move before deadline imo
-
Agree....after seeing a lot of the kind of stuff at that board I admit I was a bit surprised.
-
I'd think that there was much more interest before regular season started and maybe not as much now. I think it's possible Beane had the more interest back then than there is now after seeing how well Devin has been playing. Anyways, we will see what happens soon enough.
-
I mean I could agree if it was CMC from few years ago. I understand he has stayed healthy to this point going into week 7 and has played fairly well considering not having the best help in Carolina. But when you ask yourself, how much confidence/concern you think is there that he can stay healthy enough the rest of the way including playoffs? After you consider that then next is, how high of a draft pick would get it done.

Lol, yeah sorry bout that. Easy to get mixed up with all them sometimes

If you could only have 1 (Beckham or McCaffrey)
Patrick Duffy replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with you bro... but if OBJ is still a question mark come mid December I may stick with what we have at that point. I don't know if I'm in the minority or majority here but I just don't think it's a smart move to give away any high type draft picks for CMC. I mean I'd address other more important areas. -

If known for fact OBJ could be ready by December I 100% go with him. If not I'm not sure I do either. -
I agree with you. For ***** and giggles if had to choose one I'd go WR if possible. Considering Gabe and the ankle issue that has gave him trouble 3 seasons in a row now....But thankfully has been relatively minor for most part and not missing any major time. However, you kinda have to get the feel ankle might be a little tender and if so how it may factor in the chance of it going from minor to a bit more serious.
-
I'd think probably call up Duke Johnson....he still on PS right? I believe so, but not 100% because although it's very rare, I will miss or forget a PS player that gets snatched by another team on rare occasion.

You probably would shoot an arsenal of hot jam all over yourself and any personal items within the target zone if he ends up on Bills wouldn't you? Lol,

Josh Allen and the Quest for 6,000 Yards
Patrick Duffy replied to ArtVandalay's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not sure but believe Brady has once or twice. Kurt Warner??? Did P. Mahomes do it when the won the SB? Or was that the season Rodgers got it? Whatever the case, is reg season MVP announced before the SB and 2 teams are set? Or after? Either way wouldn't consider it a curse Ok I was wondering that. Didn't get far enough in the thread when I asked when it was. But this sounds right now that I think of it. The ceremonies leading up to SB with HOF etc. Thanks -

Yeah I knew it wouldn't take long at all for this to be pointed out. Thing I can't understand is why many fail to acknowledge this when talking about the game. It's like KC had banged up secondary and Bills are healthy missing nobody. I don't get how you can talking about players being out in that position and not even mention a player like Tre White and Hyde. Anyways, maybe it some just look for any excuse for them and not realizing how silly it sounds?
-
First I will say Thanks for the congrats and I feel most here along with myself appreciate the respectful post. Now in regards to your statement in bold (and probably has already been said by someone), but Bills also have quite a few injuries and also had 2 rookie CB's....also to add missing their S in Hyde who is arguably the best S in the NFL and not to mention a top 5 or better CB in Tre White. I'm not sure why many don't seem to acknowledge this when talking about this game. I saw 2 different shows on t.v talking KC-Buff game and one of them says KC had 2 rookies and banged up secondary and likely would have been even closer game than it was if not for that. However, they fail to even acknowledge or purposely just don't bother mentioning Bills also with 2 rookies at CB, missing Tre White (a top CB), and Hyde out for season(a top S). So if anything Bills were in worse shape than KC with injuries in the secondary imo...or at least the same.
