I don't know about overestimated, but I will say imo the loss of Hyde is a little bit more worse than Miller.

Dolphins fans opinions on what we have to say about them 🤔
Patrick Duffy replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I certainly can with Tua, without Tua is a different story. As much as this Bills secondary has struggled without Hyde along with insane amount of injuries throughout the secondary and have struggled a lot while trying to play through it all. Then you have 2 WRs that are considered by many both of them being top 5, against a injured, struggling secondary I don't see how you can't think they can win. Hell they can give even a healthy backfield a very hard time. -
It would be a blessing if he somehow can return by AFCCG (should Bills get there), his presence has been desperately missed and very noticeable since the moment he went out. You're probably right, but there's still hope after the "door not closing on a possible return" talk that was mentioned a little while back. So until there's a definite "no he's not" I will continue to believe there's a small possibility it may happen

No, I missed the joke because it was a really bad joke.
-
Hard to tell you were joking when you can't see that a comment 2 Bengals players made is clearly easy to interpret as disrespectful when it's right in front of you. Can be difficult to tell when you make a bad attempt to make a joke.

almost 40 years..... If you're talking about the Dalton TD in 2017 that helped Bills into playoffs.....why would any kind of "pay back" be needed?
-
Pay what back? I'm not following you here...I wasn't under the impression any kind of "pay back" was needed
-
Yeah seriously....and I'm not in any way a "pissed off fan". Couple of things said from Mixon and Boyd were not exactly "bulletin board material" etc....It's was worded in a manner that "I'm kinda gona half-assed compliment you, but also make it clear I don't really respect you all that much" It's enough that will make people feel like, "seems like it's not going to be all that hard to make plays on Bills D" amount of respect.
-
I guess I should have worded differently. Yes you can obviously, but I was meaning more along the lines of play action pass has much better chance to succeed when you have success running the ball than if not. Wouldn't you agree?
-
You can't play action pass when you're not running the ball. That's why I said Bills just need to run the ball well enough to open those pass plays.
-
Yeah Bengals D is pretty good against the run for sure. Bills just need to do enough the D has to think. I think the last couple games on film alone is enough they have to have some respect at least anyways
-
Even so, it's pretty rare for players to say stuff like this leading up to a game, especially a game of this magnitude with what's at stake....and against a team that's one of the best in the league in the Bills to add. Not very often these things are said, especially for huge upcoming game, but the few occasions it does...it's usually not a promising tactic
-
It's kinda weird isn't it....I don't recall these types of statements before their game vs KC. And yet they haven't played the Bills in quite a while to know enough about Bills. Certainly not enough to say some of these things....at least that's what I think

What song gets you pumped up for Bills football?
Patrick Duffy replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall
I personally don't have/need a song to get me pumped for Bills games. Just the simple thought of it being close to game day or game time along with anticipation of what amazing thing Josh may do next and I'm ready! -
27-23 Bills

Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Patrick Duffy replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh man!! I'm really interested to see how this plays out. I mean not only are the Bengals players talking a bit much, but also media (Simms counts as some sort of mediaI assume) is doing the same with the, "Bills can't run on Bengals", also "Tre is slow etc and WR on his side will always be open". I honestly would not have expected this and I'm a bit surprised by it myself. Anyways, I believe the chances are much more likely to hurt than help -
I think Bengals will be a bit better against the run, but Bills can certainly do it. Not sure why he woukld say "no chance"
-
Diggs should be just fine as usual. You mentioned he gets vet rest the final practice anyway, so missing Thursday would basically be routine anyways right?
-
Unfortunately him and many others have also this season. This has been about the most injuries for Bills this season in a while.
-
Well I do hope this will be the case, also I can't see how their recent statements end up benefiting them.
-
Yeah I'm a little surprised with they way couple of their statements are worded. I mean Matt M. and T. Edmunds are one of the top LBers this season. Especially Milano. But hey, I certainly have no problems with them making this reading material for the Bills to see
-
I'd definitely be overwhelmed with uncontrollable joyful bliss if that happens..... But to say this and only basing it off how Bengals performed against Bucs and Pats (and Won) is a bit short sighted imo. And a Bengals team riding a 7 game win streak to add... Anything can happen, but this is a game that I can only expect a knock down drag out battle going into their house with the importance of what's on the line here. I just have a hard time understanding those who say, " Bills will win big and won't be close".
