A sense of calm this week...
Patrick Duffy replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know I'm going to be one of those that drops tears down the cheeks if our Bills win this game. Lord knows how much more emotional I will be if they happen to win the big one. My nerves and emotions have been crazy this season, especially last 2 weeks. I'm sure it's the same with many Bills fans though. -
I know right.....I mean even if I was a Chiefs fan, or if the Bills went 15-1 or 16-0 while beating the breaks off teams, I would never overlook any NFL opponent. As you stated, and was the perfect term for it, a "rationale" fan knows any Sunday or game you could easily lose. Especially in the NFL. I would get it a little better if they had the Jets coming to town to play them and it wasn't the playoffs. But to just basically write off and overlook a very strong Bills team in a playoff game no less is silly. Or definitely not "rationale". I have heard a few ppl say the Chiefs fans are pretty decent when attending the game, also it's just the ones on that particular board that are rude, and think they are just unbeatable. I believe @Zerovoltz said even he doesn't do that particular board. Anyways, I certainly hope they are in for a rude awakening Sunday night.

Why? I mean I get where you're coming from to a point. However, I don't give a hamster ***** how the Bills win. If PM doesn't play and the Bills happen to get the W, I most definitely will be 100% satisfied. Also couldn't care less about the media attempting to down play the victory (if it happens) because he was out. Just win! Yeah me too. Have had it happened to me only once, but I sure do remember the pain. I also could not turn my head without hurting pretty bad.

I surprisingly feel quite a bit more confident about the Chiefs game coming up than I did with the Ravens game. The 3 teams that pretty much worried me the most and hoped if there was a way to avoid were Titans, Ravens, and Chiefs. Of course chances were very slim of it happening but I definitely feel better/confident about playing the Chiefs than last week. Maybe it's because it's only Wednesday and that will likely change the closer it gets. Yeah that's probably exactly how it's going to go.

Yup I agree. This of course all depends on what's going on behind the scenes and how sever it actually is, which we don't know those things for fact. That's kinda what I was getting at when suggesting how the NFL handles it. But we know, at least a majority of the times when players get concussions ( speaking about the ones where they have trouble getting up/standing specifically) like we saw PM get, they are usually out for a minimum of 2 weeks. And that's being generous. But I like many others don't believe for 1 second that it was "only" a pinched nerve and he didn't get concussed.

Yeah it definitely looked rough at first when he was attempting to stand. You could easily tell he got his bell rung. As for the bold, this is kinda where I'm at with this, does the NFL make a strong point and try to make a statement regarding player safety, or is he rushed just because it's a champion ship game. I can see it go either way.

That my friend is a very beautiful sight. I tell ya, I guessed/predicted the Bills would have a better record this season than last. If I remember correctly I believe I went with 11-5 or 12-4. But this was a very pleasant surprise as I didn't expect them to win 13 regular season games and 2 more post season games. At least I didn't until we got about near half way through the season.

Lol, well in my mind it did because that very exact thing came across my mind before I posted the question. Anyway, just trying to get a general idea because the wife has known for years that if that great day ever comes that I'm flying up for the parade. Also my good friend who is also a huge Bills fan is coming with me. And my bro @Juice_32 whom is practically my neighbor will also be coming with. But it appears nobody knows or has any idea which I understand since it's never happened. Wonder if most teams or all of them that has won the Super Bowl had their cities celebration parade about the same time. I'm not 100% sure but I think they usually do them within 2 or 3 days after Super Bowl Sunday.

Pats fans jumping on Bills Wagon!
Patrick Duffy replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I think so too. I have come across many, many ppl while in many different stores and what not the past couple weeks. I mean every single person said either Go Bills and they hope they win it all, or they deserve it, or asked if I have jumped through any tables yet. -
Yeah, you're good for now. Until it starts to slowly creep up and get closer. I bet by Thursday or Friday at latest those nerves will start to act up again. I know mine has been through the roof the last 2 weeks. I'll calm down and be happy and enjoy the win for the 1st 3 days or so, then when the game is in 2-3 days away my emotions slowly start going all over the place.

Just going to ask this question here in this thread and I'm not sure anyone would be too sure about this since the Bills haven't won a Super Bowl, but my question is.....if the Bills do happen to pull this out and win the Super Bowl, does anyone know when the parade would be (assuming they have one due to obvious reasons)? I would assume it would be a couple days after but not sure. Thanks

I guess. I don't ever click on his stuff or watch him so I just happened to find out about this non sense on here today. As to how it could hurt him.....well speaking for myself, when reading /hearing or coming across really off the wall ignorant statements like this I would think one would lose some credibility(imo he doesn't have any regardless),or maybe make some ppl no longer be interested. That's just me, but your'e right. It's so many out there that either believe, get a kick out of and like his nonsense, and those that get frustrated with it and that in which gets him clicks/views. But damn, Iv'e accidentally come across quite a few silly/stupid remarks by him but this one here really sticks out.

I totally believe 100% (It's probably obvious to most) that he would be out at least 2 weeks easy if this wasn't the AFC Championship. It will be interesting to see how it's handled. Of course depending on the severity(that we don't know behind then scenes) if the NFL tries to say " see, we do put a lot of stock into player safety and kept one of the best players out", Or if they try and push the issue and rush it.

Yup I agree 100% and posted up-thread a similar response. Even heard Diggs say it during the post game interview that so many ppl doubt him(Josh Allen) and he keeps proving them wrong over and over again. I'm positive the rest of the team feels the same. I was wondering this as well. At first I was thinking they may bring Williams up to play, but then I thought with this being a very important game that they likely go with the more experienced backs.
