Maybe some, but I'm not one. I was happy with how the D played even with the 2nd half not being as good. I thought the D certainly did well enough to win the game.
Well, if they're going to lose an AFC game like this, then least it was the 1st game and early.. Looks like @Logicgut feelings leading up to the Steelers game had merit lol
Not sure, but I wasn't too crazy about the way Daboll called that game. Hope to see not only better play calling, but also better execution and would like to see more of the ground game.
Agree, it can only take one play or one mistake for any game to shift in other direction. Hopefully we see them put games away enough and not chance it. Unless obviously the game is already way out of reach
I get it....that Pats game was 2 years ago and imo Big Ben isn't exactly aging like Tom Brady has/is lol. Not saying he can't throw all over Bills D because he is certainly capable. We'll see how much time he gets with the questionable and young OL this season.
Just came across the post with reasons why you pick Steelers to win. I agree they have come out little too excited in some big situations like this at times. I feel like (least I hope) a lot of them have enough experience now to keep that in check.
I'm not concerned about the Ben being better since it's early and all that stuff. As to Harris, it depends how that OL does with the new guys and rookie C and LT. If they are struggling Harris won't do but so much, at least on the ground.
I expect to likely see their OL have some issues with the noise and make some mistakes. I agree Tomlin is a excellent coach and will have them ready. But imo Bills will get hot at some point and pull away enough for a win
True it is the major reason. Although could also put the Defense as a part of being successful too. D was a big part in the 2017 playoff appearance. Then 2019 D was one of the top also.
But yes I agree, Josh is the biggest for sure
I don't know man. Player like him I would have had to do what it took to lock him in early way before it started to get to this. Too much of a game changer.
I feel like the Defense's may start out better than last year since off season was a little more normal. Looked like pretty much every teams D was slow the first few games.
I can understand and agree. I know agreements have to be made on both sides and all that, but when you have a big time game changing player like that I would think you'd want to take care of everything early and have him locked in.
I don't know what's up with that, but anyways...
You're right, never know what can happen with these games. But if I'm a Steelers fan I'm a little worried how the different OL with rookie C is going to hold up. Think their LT is a rookie also right? Anyway, how they do up front will be a big factor.
I know this post isn't toward me, but just to clarify, I didn't go through thread and see you're reasons as to why you think that. Lol, tbh, I thought you were being sarcastic actually. My bad
Seen a few posters say the same before. Have wondered about it myself. Coaches appear to be happy with him at MLB though. Don't know if they have ever attempted to try him at OLB in practice or anything, but it does kinda make you curious if he'd be better there.
