    I don't know how any reasonable football observer can make a case for McDermott to return. Hasn't everyone seen enough? I'm 50 and on Thanksgiving I hung with some 30 and under guts while waiting for dinner. Of course the subject of McDermott came up. I told them that 13 seconds was their Wide Right. Some things never change with McDermott. Time to move on.

    It is incredible. Trading up to pick Lance and then trading him for nothing because the last pick in the draft becomes your franchise QB. Sometimes it's wonderful to be lucky.

    Agreed. Shanahan is an exceptional play caller and Purdy is the perfect student. The pre-snap influence motion and route combinations, especially the high/low concepts are exceptionally executed.

    I can totally picture it: Sal: this one time we played St. Anselmo with their spread offense, and I came up with a 6-3-2 because we have LB's can run and cover. You should try it. McDermott: shoot me now.

    Sal really has the inside scoop doesn't he? That's why he broke the Dorsey firing. Oh wait, that was Schefter. His continuous need to defend the organization is cringe at an intolerable level. BTW- he did play by play for my little cousins championship game last Friday. It may have been the worst I've ever heard.

    This week I have the good fortune of having extremely rare for my schedule, Thursday night and Sunday morning free of obligations. THIS is football I get? Lol.

    The merch at the Bills store and Fanatics is horrible. It's almost impossible to find a shirt with the actual Bills font without some garbage streaks or design over it. Sometimes less is more.

    I do this for the 49'ers games when they're on because Greg Papa is amazing. I pause my DVR two seconds before kickoff and wait for the SF Sirius channel to catchup. It's usually about 2:40 behind the TV broadcast. It may take a play or three tp get it perfect but it's awesome.
