I think taking the old BPA is a semi-myth. For instance, if a QB was available at 30, and was the BPA, would the Bills take him? Of course not. I do believe BPA is a great philosophy in theory, but if you draft without an eye on your depth chart that can be hurtful to the team.

When you factor in playing in a league with 30 or more teams, I believe the last 10 years of Buffalo Sabres hockey has to be the worst, or very close to the worst, franchise in any North American major sport in history.

Ever think they may have tried to get him to re-do his deal and he wouldn't budge...so they held into him until the very end hoping Fuller would realize there may not be the money out there and get him to re-do it? Just because a team lets go of a player doesn't mean they want to.

I'm not being a homer when I say this but I would be more comfortable with our backup, Trubisky, starting than I would be with the Cheaters actual starting QB playing. In fact, with all those glitzy signing the Cheaters just had, I can't believe they didn't sign a guy like Trubisky and promise him a chance to compete for the starting spot.

Two things. One, it is a backup with lots of starting experience. Someone that can be relied upon. Two, if Webb or Fromm show something in the off-season and training camps, Trubisky could be dealt to a team that suffers an injury at QB. A lot to like about this.
