Tommy John surgery for an NFL QB is not near the recovery time that it is for an MLB pitcher. In fact, if Allen would have to have it, he would miss this season which would suck but would be back at full strength next Fall. Jake Delhomme had TJ surgery years ago and said he felt as good as new in 6 months and played the next season and led the Panthers to a 12-4 record.

I talked to my brother after the game about that Edmunds play. I thought, from the endzone angle, he had clear possession of the ball when he came down to the turf. My brother felt it was too close to overturn. My argument is that could be a game changing play. It’s worth the timeout. I think there’s a reason the Jets hurried and snapped the ball. That play definitely should have been challenged by the Bills sideline. Regardless of the outcome that would have been the right move.

I agree with a lot of what you say here though it doesn’t matter what the fans remember or say, it’s how the team prepares and executes. They were awful today. As far as Allen being the MVP? I don’t care one way or the other. I just want a Super Bowl title before I take my dirt nap.

That’s a 10-14 point swing right there and that doesn’t count his other inaccurate passes throughout the day. The Bills are down 3 Pro-Bowl type players on defense today. Milano, Poyer and Hyde. 4 if you count Tre White. The offense HAS TO score more than 17 and, ironically, that falls on 17’s shoulders. He was woeful throwing the ball today.

Agreed. Gabe Davis has made some huge plays for us this season but not nearly enough. There is no way they should pay him as a top WR when his deal is up.
