I like Davis but if this team is going to get where we all want it to go then WR play has to be better. So does Josh for that matter but this thread is about Davis. Davis may have good stats but he also has bad stats. He has a high drop%. That is not just a stat that shows he drops too many balls but it also shows that his good stats are volume stats. He also needs to be better at contested catches and run better routes. At this point, this is not a reciever that should be paid like Diggs. He may want that money when that time comes.

You'll probably get ***** on in this thread but you are right. People here seem to take the next man up thing too seriously. Next man up doesnt apply when its half of your defense. I seen something or heard something yesterday. Every starter on this defense has missed time this year except I think it was Daquan Johnson and one other rotation role player. Thats just insanely bad luck. Coaching has to do a good job to get where they are with all these injuries. I hate all the third and longs we give up and I complain in GDT about it but I also know thats what happens when you field a roster of role players.

Injuries are just the luck of the draw. Most of these injuries are just sprained ankle, hammies, etc. Those players will be back. Dont know about Von. I dont take any stock in online doctors. Hopefully his MRI shows good and he is back by playoffs or even before. Allen's injury isnt as severe as the online doctors all screamed. I expect it gets better over time. If he starts throwing regularly in practice then its pretty obviously getting better as he didnt throw in practice since the injury other than this one last practice before Detroit. For everything going on this year and as sloppy as its looked this team is better than last season. These are games the Bills would have lost last season. They are far more resillient this year. The Bills beat the Chiefs man. Like WTF? The Chargers are the same team they have been... play a lot of close games and come out on the wrong side of them. All the things you want to say the Bills are is exactly what the Chargers ACTUALLY have been.

He is right and thats why they ruled it incomplete. If his hand stayed under it then it would have been ruled complete. It doesnt though and the ball hits the ground. Also if he caught it and turned and took a couple steps the ground wouldnt have mattered I dont think because they got rid of the surviving the ground rule in favor of making a football move. In this case going to the ground was his football move His hand in on the back of the ball. Most of this ball is on the ground

I understand all that but this offense just is not in sync like it was the last part of the year last season. This season has been mostly Diggs since teams have started bracketing Davis. Davis is dropping balls left and right, Knox is hardly used in the passing game at all. I expect they will fix this but even with the yards and points they are getting it just is not there yet.

At that point of the post he hadnt been touched all game. He didnt face pressure until the end of the game. I dont think we are going to kill your guys this game. We are fighting through some stuff right now and I dont mean just injuries. Our O just doesnt have the chemistry or playmakes we had in the last two games where we did kill your guys. Mahomes and Allen are the two best QBs in football. I dont think it matters which one is better. My feelings on it are that they both do their own things at an elite level but those things are different. Part of my opinion is this... I think Mahomes is in a better offensive system and has better skill position players over all and has an easier time playing QB. A 5 yard pass for them can go like 20 yards all the time. A 5 yard pass for us goes 5-10 yards most of the time. I think Mahomes does read the field better than Allen I think Allen can drive a ball better and further and get it into a window better than Mahomes can Thats just partially what I think but all I really want to say because I dont want it to turn into a long debate. That debate just doesnt matter.

Very strange way of looking at this. I think you can do better. Let me help 😃 The Lions are not as mediocre as their record. They do have a really really good offense and lost some very close games. Sometimes the ball just bounces that way. The Bills, also banged up on both sides of the ball including QB are finding ways to still win. While also losing a home game, having 1 practice per week the last two weeks and a QB that doesnt throw in practice at all. I think most of these players are going to be back by the playoffs and the Bills just need to find ways to win until then. There are no style points with the injuries we have. Just keep winning. If anything its a credit to this coaching staff, the depth Beane put together, and the resillience of our players getting to 8-3. You're welcome friend.

OMG man why are you so every team but Buffalo envy all the time? We are 8-3 with a disaster of an injury report every week including QB.

Really strange how it was actually special teams that cost the Pats. Never see that from Belichick's teams. Its usually the other way around.

Your team played tough. A lot tougher than I thought they would today tbh. Refs missed stuff on the Pats too. I think the receiver slowed down because he couldnt find that moonball. It was pretty high up there. He probably lost it. Good throw but it was a huge moon.
