I have read you guys debating and honestly I don’t have an opinion either way. What I do think is if you guys want to argue what you are arguing then the best place to look is somewhere in the middle pages. That’s where herd mentality is likely kicked in and echo chambers start. The first 6 pages is a bad example to read imo because those will be mostly people that just don’t like the pick and stating so but not really why.

Is Hackett still the Jets OC? I read on this board that he is like the worst OC ever whenever he was with another team. Now people are scared of the Jets. I mean they do have a great roster but can Rodger’s be Rodger’s? Will he even last the season?

Two. Josh and one other. I dunno who the other Qb will be but there is no chance they use a valuable roster spot on a third QB.

Just about every vet in the nfl has some kind of injury history. Injuries happen. It can happen to any player at any time. Even Josh Allen has injury history to his elbow and shoulder.

If Beane was going to spend big on a WR, he would have done it long ago. Injuries might force his hand but I wouldn't expect anything other than a fringe player. He isn't signing any big contracts or trading any big draft picks. I mean I would love to get a big time receiver in here but we all just need to realize it aint happening.

Agree its a good attitude to have. Some receivers think they should catch anything they get a hand on. Others make excuses like "the ball was thrown too hard" or "I wasnt ready yet."

Some of you guys are so spoiled. Its now superbowl win or you dont care anymore. Thats just crazy to me. Yes, I want a superbowl but I still enjoy the season regardless. Some of you dont even enjoy games at all anymore. Its like you might as well not bother watching or cheering unless its the superbowl. On top of that, we are still contenders IMO. I still cant wait for the season to start. I never get hyped for preseason games because they are meaningless and if the starters arent playing, I just dont care. They wont be playing this week either so I dont care. I just hope they arent sloppy af week 1 because they were too afraid of playing starters.

I don’t think they are. If one kicker has a higher avg distance but the other kicker kicks it inside the 20 way more often then how is it possible they kick from about the same spot?

I mean that stat kinda depends on where you are kicking it from.

All I care about on punt returns is they dont turn the ball over. If they get some yards too then great.

Im not huge on Cook but probably not. He is still pretty explosive and its not like we have much explosive on the offense. Maybe next year after some of these rookies transition and maybe we add to the roster.

Its only a problem if Allen goes down for short term, but yeah these guys are terrible. I dont expect much but I expect they can throw a standard NFL pass in a preseason game at least.
