    No problems here. My neighbors are pretty cool by my standards. Were paying the neighbor girl to get out mail and watch our cat while were on vacation. They probably think im a degenerate because I'm shirtless with a beer most days during these warm months. However, the never called the police on my raging fires and music tastes on a late Friday night.

    Just for the record. I'm on board with whatever background checks are deemed necessary to prevent lunatics from buying a gun. I'm curious however, as to when the ACLU will step in and say people's rights are being infringed upon.

    The public is a public nuisance. Not the guns. Put 10,000 guns in the middle of the street and nothing will happen. Put 10,000 people in any place and your probably going to get a few #######s. Put 10,000 guns and 10,000 #######s in a place then there is a real issue.

    Vox is a joke of a news source. People B word and complain that nobody does anything, then when something is proposed it's scoffed at. They're already flagging hate speech, but now its some type of problem if they supposed to make an effort to detect a potential shooting threat? If anyone but Trump proposes the same thing Vox wouldn't even have thought about covering it.

    Let's be honest. No matter what he says or does it wont be enough for some. Not one or two pages ago someone was complaining that he didn't condemn white supremacy. So he's done that, but you'll never hear that person give him any credit for it.

    As far as I'm concerned there should have been no bond set and he should have been detained until a full medical evaluation could be performed. If found mentally competent he should be jailed, if not he should be detained in some type of mental asylum.

    Automatic weapons are already illegal to purchase. For every AR-15 that kills someone there's 100 stolen handguns with serial numbers filed off that do the same thing. Guns aren't the problem, people are the problem. Making more laws isn't going to prevent criminals from doing what criminals do.

    I remember learning about the meaning of the word "paradox" during history class when discussing WWI. They were still using horses to transport supplies and such, but right along side them were these new found killing machines called tanks.
