With a slick turf I would not have dressed Miller. I would have sat him.
Like that Joseph is dressing.
There is no way the coaches are making the decision in him based on film.
He’s been a complete ghost the entire year.
Jonathan is healthy and gives you 100% effort.
-
Just an absolute joke that Von Miller is active again over Kingsley Jonathan.
The tape doesn’t lie, except for our coaches who continue to ignore his absolutely useless efforts out there week after week.
So glad we took him off PUP as quickly as we did.

Rams red zone offense has been terrible. If they lose, there’s the reason.
There were two receivers who ended up in the end zone on that snap.
Nowhere else to go.

The Rams offense and the way they get people open is fun to watch. It kind of makes ours look really amateurish.
Kupp in constant motion.
One guy in motion. He moves and sets. Then another guy goes in motion.
For sure you’re seeing a high-level pass and possession WR.

Yeah he got rocked on the sideline. Came up slow. Looked like his back. Of course Tirico missed it. He's the absolute worst.
Yeah I said the same thing.
He stayed down after that shot for a few seconds and they didn’t mention it at all.
But it was awkward, got folded like a chair.

Hold on a second. Patty mahommes gets 2 hand touched and he flops down and that’s called RTP.
but stafford gets road grated by the second guy and stepped on by the 3rd and no call?
The Chiefs entire team whines non-stop for calls.

Stafford’s eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Lions had more success going straight ahead.
The sweeps are getting strung out.

Really? I always liked this color combination
They showed their 2001-2018 gold and navy uniforms, those things were drab.
These colors show much better.

I’ve ripped the Packers and their FO for being overrated in the past for always drafting defense in the 1st-Round and waiting forever on WR.
But the past two seasons their skill players seemingly have all hit:
Watson
Doubs
Wicks
Reed
Melton
Musgrave
Kraft
Our WR depth chart virtually bottoms out after Diggs and Shakir.
-
The Lions offense is so patient.
They stick with the run, use a ton of play action, bootlegs.
They are in control, whereas the Cowboys and Dolphins panic.
Also, Detroit got mocked for their draft.
Now it’s clear that Gibbs, LaPorta, Branch, Campbell can all play.

I don’t know any Dolphins fans or check out Fins Haven.
So really the Dolphins aren’t some arch rival for me.
I was alive for Kelly and Marino, but I don’t have the 1970’s like older fans do.
But to partake some, it is nice that Lebatard and Stugotz can sit front row and watch their team fall apart after the countless potshots they’ve taken at the Bills and Allen.

Florio has been shipping this story so hard dude.
Each coaching cycle has 5-6 guys canned every year, and you’re dying to get rid of a guy who has never had a losing season?
I just don’t see it.

Agreed. SF is really the only team that I would say strikes fear in me. That team is built for a title - strong lines on both sides, great running game & WR's, well coached. It's the one team I feel like we'd need some breaks against.
The Ravens are formidable, but I see that as more of an even match-up.
Every other team is pretty flawed and beatable.
Big thing is try to get these players healthy in order:
1. Douglas
2. Dodson
3. Rapp
4. Gabe
They were 95% of their opening day roster going into Miami.

I think that’s fair though. We were under the assumption that we’d have to play the Steelers in a game where all of our advantages were taken away due to weather.. weather so extreme that it isn’t even football anymore.
However, we were offered the opportunity to play today in ideal conditions. We lobbied to play tomorrow in wind/cold, but nothing that should truly affect us.
The league gave us the ok to change the playoff schedule.. not just this week, but basically ensuring we must play KC, if we win, on Sunday (which they’d probably do anyway) but this now affects, potentially, two weeks of their scheduling.
No excuses.
I’m not scared of any of these teams.
Move the game, don’t move the game, it doesn’t matter.
If we lose, we lose. But I’m not bowing down to anyone.

Seems like it’s just a self defense mechanism some fans use if the team happens to lose.
That was definitely the case with Schopp, Bulldog, Sal Cappacio, all the Saturday guys this week.
It was a non-step weather update.

Pretty indicative of this thread. I too couldn't listen to wgr much the last few days because of weather talk. That and all the mason Rudolph fear.
Yeah, WGR shortchanged all their listeners this week.
Nothing but hanging out with Andrew Fillipponi, and mostly listening to Schopp and Bulldog complain about how the whole season was going to be ruined.
Had to love Sal Capaccio coming on there with less injury information than people on this board, talking about how the Steelers may not even attempt to throw to George Pickens.
Thanks for that analysis Sal. Just like your the Dolphins might sit everyone last week nonsense.
-
Tried to listen to WGR today from 10:00 AM.
The entire thing was whining about the weather.
Gave up before they announced the game moved.

I wouldn’t say it favors them, because we can run our QB.. but it probably makes it a coin flip game if passing is almost taken out of the equation.
Not sure Cook is an ideal RB for this game, but we shall see. I hope he makes me eat crow because ever since Dallas, I haven’t been impressed with him at all.
Our defensive line has to create havoc. That's really what this comes down to.
Where are we healthy? In both trenches.
Activate Joseph and throw big bodies up the middle.
I am worried about the Bills loyalty to Von Miller.

I would counter that when McDermott can make a team one-dimensional, he’s usually very effective.I’d go back to the Ravens Playoff game where they were the team with the run game advantage but couldn’t really do much of anything.
That being said.. if we struggle to score, all it takes is a turnover in a bad spot or missed gap and we’re chasing them.
We also are a middling run defense because McD prioritizes defending the pass. There really isn’t a reason a DL consisting of Joseph, Oliver, Jones, Rousseau, Floyd and Lawson shouldn’t be dominant against the run if they want to be. ….but they’re going to have to be, especially if Dodson can’t go.
I think we all know this is a huge advantage for the Steelers if the conditions severely limit our passing attack.
Well, with Gabe and Rapp ruled out, I think the Bills have the freedom to not scratch Linval Joseph. So not saying the rush defense is all on him, but he's another big body to throw in there.
Also, if either/both Douglas and Dodson are declared out, I wonder if Kingsley Jonathan is also made available. That way you have your entire defensive line available.
Alec Anderson, Latavius Murray, Gabe Davis, Taylor Rapp, Rasul Douglas, Tyrel Dodson

That's been the plan for years.

Rather not see Dodson out there trying to play with one good shoulder.
My guess is if he’s out there, we’ll see it quickly how limited he is.
And we’ve got two bodies to go to behind him in Spector and Williams.

No Rapp in a game where thumping is needed is not ideal.
Yeah, Rapp is a significant piece.
He’s played 42% of snaps (421) this season for the Bills as the team has rotated 3 safeties.
My hope is it’s Cam Lewis out there, not Damar Hamlin.

Went from having a clean report for Miami to having half our guys on the list for the playoffs. ugh.
Yeah I thought the same thing.
Against Miami they had all 22 starters from opening day (counting Douglas as better than White) except Milano.

If Murray doesn’t show you anything today, he needs to be cut and Fournette added full-time.
I wonder if Harty sees the field more than 3 snaps with Davis out, or if that run goes all to Sherfield?
