just look at our two resident miami posters, @FilthyBeast and @Airseven.    i don't know if it's a thing with their fan base, but wow are these two strange, petty men.  that being said, i think chiefs fans may be worse after spending a few minutes on that board.

That's why I react like I do to Caesar and fans of other teams on this board.

Because at the end of the day, nobody wants to hear the perspective of the opponent.

Now like I said, PatsfanNH and that Green Bay Packers fan, ok, but nobody wants a Chiefs fan on this board educating you about Pat Mahomes throwing preferences like you don't own a TV and he isn't on 12 times a year.

Your info was spot on last time.

If Bernard is high ankle he's probably out at least two weeks. Waddle was pushing it when he came back that early. I am hoping it's a less serious one, but even then it portends well to a September 2024 return.

Any word in your sources about Rasul Douglas?

Taron Johnson is the odd one, checked for concussion, never declared out.

You look at the contact on the play that he gets hurt on and it doesn't look abnormal.

The hope has to be Benford and Douglas can shoot up their knees, and whatever Taron was shaking out on his hand works itself out.

Think it's an "educated guess" on Diggs.  Based on Minkah hitting him there/Diggs toppling over.  Agree, Diggs is battling through something.

Bernard- if it's indeed a sprain, didn't look like High'Ankle based on bend direction.  But could still be a torn ligament/need several month surgery recovery.  Big Unknown until MRI.  We just don't have the numbers at LB, with Spector also down and Dodson.  Hopefully both those guys can play this week

Johnson- I think he was injured on. the Pickens reverse, didn't look like head/thought his legs gave out.  But maybe hit then fell awkwardly.

Benford - he was riding stationary bike then quickly ruled out.  I don't recall the injury, perhaps on the Freirermuth fumble.  Hopefully we get Rasul back, at a minimum, to go with Dane.

Martin- I'd expect he battles through/plays.

McGovern- came back into game after 1 play, sure he'll be ok

Banged up Bills has a breakdown of Taron Johnson's last snap. He does take contact from Dan Moore Jr and Connor Heyward, but not obvious jarring contact, just a double team block and they release further down the field, and then he stumbles over shaking his right hand.

Happened with 0:11 left in the 3rd quarter.

Also, he was never officially ruled out for a concussion, just taken for evaluation.

Benford was on the Freiremuth fumble. Banged up Bills has a good angle of it, he sets into tackle position, and his right knee buckles some, and his ankle awkwardly turns. He's thinking possible lateral meniscus. And when you watch it again, he doesn't immediately grab his knee, he starts to get back recognizing a fumble before going out of view.

How many of those guys played against us?

Baker - who broke his wrist during the game but stayed in

Javon Holland - who left during the game around halftime maybe

Van Ginkel - who broke his foot during the game 3rd quarter I think

Goode - who got hurt on Harty's punt return beginning of the 4th quarter

I'm optimistic KC won't score more than 27 in this one. We should be able to hold them under 25 really. Miami's defense really was just as banged up last week as ours will be this week and Miami's defense held the Chiefs down surprisingly well despite not getting much support from their offense.

    Miami was down:

    X. Howard - #2 CB

    J. Phillips - #1 DE

    A. Van Ginkel - #3 DE

    B. Chubb - #2 DE

    J. Baker - Starting MLB

    J. Holland - Starting S

    C. Goode - #4 DE

And the other Safety Elliott was limping around the field.

And no Connor Williams at starting Center.

I honestly think that may have been part of the gameplan, to try and disrupt his throwing lanes. You saw the spotlight and heard Romo in the beginning talking about how Rudolph loves to throw those slants and crossing routes. A lot of times our guys just held up the blockers and looked to get a hand in the throwing lanes. There was pressure at times, mainly from Oliver or someone else in the middle. It made Rudolph have to double clutch and try to reset because someone was getting pushed into him.

I listen to the game on MUTE because of Nantz and Romo. I will have to do the same next week to avoid the constant Mahomes ballwashing.

But no, they didn't get any real pressure on Rudolph. Greg Cosell talks about quarterbacks feeling pressure when there is no pressure, and that's what we saw yesterday. Rudolph stinks and felt pressure at times when there really was no collapsing of the pocket.

I have started writing this in the last few minutes. Already since I began the Bills have found ways to take years off my life..

    • I will admit, when the Steelers crawled to within one score I got a nagging feeling in my gut that we were going to go down the path we have so many times before. And Josh Allen stepped out onto the field and showed why he should have been MVP. When the Bills needed to get gritty, they outmuscled the team that we were supposed to be afraid of.
    • We still had a 7-point lead. I was thinking the offense will keep scoring and this game will be kept out of reach.
    • One Josh's TD run I was shouting NO!!!! before shouting YESSS!!! That is a season highlight real play.
    • I never shouted "no" because you could see right away he was going to get the first down.
    • The run is going to get the attention, but that TD throw to Kincaid was just perfect. It was called at the perfect time too, and for a moment I thought that was going to be the dagger.
    • Finally starting to use Kincaid down the field in the final few games here.
    • I do not want to hear Steelers fans crying about the non-call at the pivotal 4th down around the 4 minute mark. They had a LOT of bounces in their way. It felt like the refs were shrinking the Bills a yard on each spot and giving it to the Steelers. The Bills had to use their challenges on turnover players because the refs non-called them. That the second someone wasn't reversed is mystifying for me.
    • Steelers were never in this game. So the ref whining gets a shoulder shrug. In fact, enjoy that ride home Pittsburgh.
    • Ruh roh, I am not excited to see the injury report. We are banged up. The return of AJ Klein? OUCH. I really hope that some of these were precautions.
    • How bad is Benford hurt? Because if he can go, and Douglas can go and we can get Rapp back, that would round out the secondary against Kansas City.
    • Jesus with those missed FD are taking years off of my life.
    • Sure Romo was "right" about the 49-yard Field Goal, but I didn't think it was a bad decision as the time.
    • Minor quibble, but the number of times we hit Rudolph just as he was throwing really ticked me off.
    • Outside of the injuries, my #1 concern defensively is the lack of a pass rush. The Bills couldn't get Mason Rudolph on the ground. Epenesa is still being used sparingly and the Coaches won't sit Von Miller.
    • Considering everything, I am proud of this team. Things could have gotten away from them, but the Bills did not hit the pitfalls they have. Kansas looms large.
    • Agree
    • I can't wait to hear from Nick Wright about how Mason Rudolph outplayed Josh Allen. He will find an angle. Some way
    • I cut Colin Cowherd (and by proxy Nick Wright) out of my life last year before the Minnesota Vikings game and it was the right decision. Another fan with a microphone that can't teach you anything about the game.
    • Addendum: At the end, Von not being able to catch Mason Rudolph? I've been defending him and there is a chance his play rebounds in 2024. But right now it is a liability.
    • The Bills coaches won't sit him. And that's hurting the team. He still tries the straight-up rush and is pushed past the Quarterback every time. But more and more he is trying the inside spin and that is giving up the edge, and he is completely engulfed by the OG and OT. I think he should be made inactive and the Bills should rush Jordan Phillips in that spot. They're not generating any pressure right now with a completely healthy line. The one thing they've done well on is getting their hands up and batting passes. Another 6'6" pass rusher on the line keeps Joseph in play to stop the run, while taking a complete zero off the field.

  8. I think he's a liability in coverage.

I thought the Bills defense had the corner too far back/off all night, and Elam was slow to recover on routes thrown to the inside.

Von has flashed once or twice late in the past few games. He’s just nowhere around when we need him earlier. KC has very weak tackles, so hopefully Von, AJE, Groot, and Floyd can FEAST. DTs have to stop Patty from stepping up and running up the middle.

    Yeah I’m still serious.

Phillips is eligible to come back off IR this week.

Poona sat tonight, but Von should be sat, Phillips activated, cut Alec Anderson if you have to, and rush Phillips in the game.

The coaches won’t do it, but Von is horrible out there. Now he’s trying the inside spin and he just gets swallowed by the OG and OT.

Was at the game, not sure if they showed this on TV. After Josh ran for the long touchdown he walked from the end zone along the whole bench not stopping or pausing while giving high fives and fist bumps. One could tell he was walking with a purpose so I watched him. He finally got to the far end of the bench, tunnel side. He gave a big hug to a player who has struggled and worked thru a lot this year, Kaiir Elam. A few words were exchanged and I’m sure they were words of encouragement based on the body language. Great leadership moment.

    Agreed.

He ditched that low positive garbage and started playing with fire and emotion again.

What will really show it for me is this off-season, hitting the camp with Palmer, working out, coming into camp in this best shape of his career.

But McDermott went to him to give the speech to the team in Miami down 14-7 at Halftime.

He spoke again after the game tonight.

But I heard Gabe was a good blocker and the most valuable player even when he doesn't make a catch?

That’s what Sal Capaccio is quick to remind everyone who calls in.

Like the game of football and modern passing never existed before Gabe Davis got into the league.

    1.  Freirmuth non fumble.
    2.  False start on RT on first TD

    3.  Way late hit on Diggs at end of first half.

Here’s a clue. Watch with your own eyes. Don’t pay attention to the announcers.

They had a delay of game that wasn’t called.

#16 jumps on Diggs’ back on the Shakir TD run?
