  1. Depends upon the reasoning for it. If they think 60,000 fans will create a huge increase in demand and cause ticket prices to go up and allow higher PSLs - they why wouldn’t they do that. Higher demand - higher ticket prices - higher PSLs - more resale tickets with the NFL collecting on resales fees - different clientele that will most likely purchase more and higher costing in stadium food and drinks. What is Buffalo currently know for and we read on here all the time - pre and post game tailgating. If people are eating and drinking in private lots before and after the game - how much money does that bring into the Bills coffers? That is exactly what the Bills should be trying to eliminate and replace with people that want to eat and drink in the stadium at a higher price point. During the drought the biggest complaint/laughing point was the Bills tickets on the secondary market. You could routinely get Bills tickets on Stub Hub for $2-3 dollars starting in November. - so no they did not consistently sell out - they have recently, but for many years late season games were well attended. If as was proposed they cut nearly 10,000 seats to get to a specific price point - then it will be on the county or state to decide if they want to put more in the pot and increase the public funding. The plans are going to change a million times in the next couple of years and as I have said in the other thread - most fans that attend the game should be hoping and praying for a large public funding of the stadium as that will help defray costs across the a significantly higher number of people. If the public funding comes in at 40-60% of the cost - then the size of the stadium and the ticket cost and PSLs will go way up to recoup costs - making for a much different game day experience. If the public funding come in at 75-80% then they could afford to keep the experience closer to current levels.
  2. IR him before the 53 man roster? They don’t want to do that because then he is done for the season (can’t practice or get called up) and since his “injury” allowed him to practice before the packers game - the player and agent could seek an injury settlement and the Bills would lose him. IR him on the 53 - then they would of had to cut another player and hope they will not sign and give them an option to come back and that made little sense for a guy that because of injury will most likely clear waivers and be available for the PS. IR was the least likely option once he made it back to practice last week - in my opinion.
  3. I mean come on look - his GPS was busted on that play. A good gunner with spacial awareness would have been 3 mm closer and actually impacted the play 🤦‍♂️.
  4. I think looking at the helmet images - the White Buffalo looks bush league. The Blue Helmet with the Blue Buffalo look 50x better and the Blue on Blue makes no sense. The Blue Buffalo looks right - so I would start with that and choose alternate helmets from there. I would not change the logo to fit the helmet color. Make the helmet color fit the logo. White Helmets do that nicely. A Red Helmet makes the blue Pop. A Black Helmet or a Silver helmet like their original colors might work, but I think you have the 2 accent helmet colors already set and there is little to change. Also - it isn’t change that most people have issue with. They wanted change - white face masks- white/red helmets - heck even going back to Fergie’s day with a blue face mask would be fine. They don’t care for the design and color mix on the helmet.
  5. As I said in the other thread where this was posted. The Blue colored helmet is horrible. The White Buffalo on it looks wrong - it just looks terrible and the Red stripe looks off. If you want to use a blue helmet to redesign the Giants - great, but that color Blue with that Logo is just 🤮. I am glad to see the vast majority agree. I am sorry, but that just looks bad.
  6. Maybe, but I really doubt it. They have the same number as last year with a bit more inside/outside flexibility. They will also keep 2 CBs and a safety on the PS much like last year. I think they are set, but maybe if the right guy is released they will trade something out, but my guess is they have the guys they want. IR as he needs shoulder surgery. They can’t cut him - so he just looks like he made the team, but he didn’t. He is done for the year - at least with the Bills.
  7. The red streak looks wrong and I think the Blue is wrong. It just does not look like a Bills helmet - the colors just seem off and I don’t feel they go together. Maybe that’s the problem - I think the Giant’s uniform are terrible. The Bills look classic - The Giant’s Helmets are terrible with their uniforms.
  8. Sorry - yeah - it really is not my cup of tea. I do not like the way the Blue and the White look together. The Blue is to bright and the White looks muted. I do not think the 2 colors work together. It might be ok with a white Jersey, but overall I think it is a huge downgrade.
  9. Please No - this is horrible - Sorry, but that white Buffalo is gross. The Ugly Blue on Blue popped more. This looks like some weird HS helmet.
  10. The rate will drop because out of the 90 guys with an 80% rate means 17 unvaccinated players - the assumption is that the majority of the bubble guys would be vaccinated to make sure that they are not cut for that. Now you cut to 53 and all 17 unvaccinated are in the 53 - now you rate is 68%. It is simple math based upon an uneven distribution of vaccinated versus unvaccinated players.
  11. IR ends his season. Is he not worth the effort of putting him on the PS? Then he might actually get a chance to play in an NFL game and can continue practicing. He was not worth keeping on the 53 as the 8th best receiver.
  12. Interesting, but the QB’s they face this year are not great and they face more run first/TE teams. My guess is we see a lot more base 4-3 defense this year with NE, NYJ, Miami, Tennessee- all run heavy and short pass oriented.
  13. Except Bam Johnson (along with 66% of special teams snaps each year - also played 20% of defensive snaps. He was more than ST only.
  14. I think that rendering goes back to stuff printed in 2013-2014 - I don’t think it is new. Several Reddit users created “renderings” of downtown areas right in between the Hockey and Baseball stadiums. Maybe it is new, but my guess - it is old material created by fan sites not legitimate current plans.
  15. Right now he is injured - not sure the Bills can just cut him as injured and then exempt him. It is interesting. Might end up just regular IR or waived with injury settlement and his time here is done.
  16. Where did the story originate from? Who gave the details to Charles Robinson? I have no doubt that several teams - maybe Miami, Philly, and Carolina reached out and are asking to make a deal for a small protected fraction of what Houston wants. My guess was Philly looking at a 1st, a 2nd, Hurts, and maybe another player. Miami may make a trade, but they wanted nothing to do with this coming out because it is a huge distraction for that team. Therefore to me this is 100% Houston trying to drum up business and passing info out to try and get teams competing against each other.
  17. I would expect Hart to be around as they continue to work the phones for a trade. Unless there are more injuries at that position - I would not expect him to make the team.
  18. Without trying to speak for @MAJBobbybut doing so anyway - The original idea was the NFL was going to force the Bills to increase capacity to 65,000. @MAJBobbythen ssid if the NFL is going to dictate capacity- then you only agree with a Super Bowl guarantee. Therefore - as we know - No Super Bowl to Buffalo - the Bills should not then change capacity for the NFL. They don’t necessarily go together - they just came together as part of the discussion.
  19. I totally hear you - that will definitely add to the cost, but might be why the price tag is where it is.
  20. It might be, but the cold I think is a bigger impact than the weather. I think the overhangs can protect the fans, but the seats will be exposed to sub freezing temperatures when ever the stadium isn’t in use. Any exposed charging plugs will not hold up in that type of temperatures. Most of the excellent new technology would be best protected in an enclosed space. I will be very interested to see the final product and the final designs and how it all plays out in the end.
  21. It will be interesting because the 2 new enclosed stadiums in LA and LV used the roof space to get new gen WiFi across the stadium as a major enhancement. I think open air limits some of this - like built in charging stations will not stand up to the weather. I don’t mind 60,000 fans, but I think many people loving open air and orchard park are not going to be happy with the final product as prices go up and PSL hit more seats. I expect them to do more integrated tickets and parking packs to limit off street parking and bring more income.
  22. The problem is the teams don’t decide who is available to go on the COVID list - The NFL decides. The rules are set up - so if you want to use this loophole - you would need to plan it out over a week in advance to get a positive and close contacts. Just not happening - you just have so really poorly coached teams - like Tennessee- that keep having issues. Meathead coach - stupid issues.
  23. This was Houston trying to drum up business because most likely a team like Philly called asking about a 1st and a 2nd and maybe a guy like Hurts and Houston was hoping to get them to increase the offer while they are thinking about it.
  24. Does it really matter where he is listed? He was listed as a TE last year and blocked a lot as a FB/HB and was active on Special Teams most weeks once they got him active. He is multipositional and will do whatever is needed - a perfect fit for this roster.
  25. Most likely not because with his signing bonus and contract this move costs the Pats between 3-4 million in cap space. You typically want to use a guy on a 1 year contract with little guaranteed money.
