I thought it was terrible.  Unpopular opinion, but I thought the show was sloppy and unfulfilling for the final 4 seasons, while the first 2 seasons were fantastic and worthy of the acclaim the show receives.    I only hung on through the finals seasons wondering what was going to happen at the conclusion.  Then to see a blank screen made me feel like I got hit with a pie in the face.  I hear all the breakdowns with how the perceptions changed in a certain order, and what Tony said earlier in the season and all... but that doesn't make me feel much better.

I thought after what happened to Adriana is when it went a little down hill.

The last scene I wasn’t a fan of but the last couple shows I thought were only okay.

  2. I actually thought of this thread and confidentially it got bumped.  Some old clips of Bettlejuice and his manager Sean I watched last night that were making me laugh….

I’ll give Howard credit for being able to get information out of his guests nobody else does or can.  But he’s still too much of a fake for me these days.  But then again I remember he used to have his News segments on the end of each show when he was on FM radio.  My thought was for a guy that dislikes celebrities so much he sure does know a lot about them.

My point being maybe he never really changed and this is the person he always aspired to be,

  3. Josh is a great QB but too many in this fanbase seem to make him out to be this Christ like figure.

His personal life is none of my business but me thinks if more about him was made public his clean image would go up in smoke.

I like him as the Bills QB and that’s where it ends with me.

  4. Mimicking a thread @BillsPride12 did about the Seinfeld finale.

I only delved into this series recently and finished it.  That being said it felt kind of near impossible not to at least have an idea of what happened at the last scene.  I definitely recall people feeling let down by it at the time.

That said it still didn’t ruin for me.  I got into the series and yeah when the final scene came along and the Journey song was going my arms literally went in the air as if to say WTF.

But I’ve read online fans that thought it was the perfect finale.

Since I’m assuming most people that watched it years ago in the past already, what’d you think?

Would anyone else be low key interested in a Hard Knocks style, BTS documentary on the drought?

Any behind the scenes stories/video would be absolutely fascinating.

I thought this series in 2017 was interesting.

    you might like it

  6. I guess Shaw meant two weeks from the Super Bowl.

The season was dead to me January 21st which is now 4 weeks.

More to life than football for me: days are getting longer, sun is literally shining more,  and baseball starts soon.  I made my peace with the Bills this year.

  7. I'm not sure if this is considered a B movie but I liked it a lot.  The story of Chuck Wepner the inspiration for Rocky.

One of Demi Moore's first movies.  I liked this one as well

First Spring Training game of the year for our Mets! At Port St. Lucie vs. St. Louis 1:10 PM EST.

An official NY Mets podcast dropped for the first time today. It's called 'Meet At The Apple'. First episode is hosted by Mets play-by-play man Gary Cohen and he interviews owner Steve Cohen on a number of topics including Pete Alonso. This is a good listen and I would recommend it, fellas. Here are the details of the podcast going forward:

"Meet at the Apple with your hosts Vito Calise (@VitoFCalise) and Jonathan Baron (@JMB9191) every Monday and Thursday with exclusive access to the Mets! This is not your everyday baseball podcast; you can get the stats anywhere… Here you’ll get an inside look into the players you love to watch beyond the diamond highlighted by a weekly appearance by Mets manager, Carlos Mendoza!"

    LGM!!!

For reasons that go way beyond not having high expectations for the team this year I’d consider myself more a casual kind of Mets/baseball fan.

That being said I always enjoy the first spring training games.  It’s more a reminder to me Spring is near, the days get longer, and more sunlight.  This winter was rough for me.  I got Covid twice during it.  Even an RN friend wasn’t aware you can get it under 90 days from onsets.

So yeah bring on baseball.  LGM!!

One of my favorites as well

I had a red Swingline stapler. My freaking kids destroyed it

I literally know what “PC load letter” means because of that film

Mike Bolton didn’t know though.  Lol

which brings another good point about that characters name.  I thought it was a total shade at that “singer guy”.  But my thought is it was more that character had to repress his real rap loving personality to fit in

I was in high school went it came out.  Being it was from the Beavis and Butthead creator yeah it looked and was funny at the time.

When I actually started working though in an office it felt more like a documentary.  Nit picking at passive aggressive managers, too many managers, annoying habits of co workers, and oh yeah that unreliable copier.

It’s definitely in my top 10 films of all time.  The only thing I’d say a little against it is some of the technology seems a little dated today (ex: floppy disks).

Still it’s an all time iconic movie worth celebrating

  11. I remember in 2012 after losing to the Rams and Seahawks back to back fans were calling in WGR being nostalgic about 2004 in that at least there was meaningful December football games played.

Losing to the Chiefs sucks and it felt even worse for me last year than 13 seconds.....  that being said I always try to remind myself of those days in 2012 and not take this current team for granted.

This one is close to the Stevie catch, if not better considering the entire outcome. This is among my all time favorite plays. Always was a huge Moulds fan. Wait for the replay. Pretty sick.

Yeah I'd say the Stevie catch was acrobatic/impressive on its own but this was the bigger play.

Earlier in this thread I posted people now forget how frustrating as a QB Fitz was.  Because on like the next play or two he threw an INT after that Stevie catch!

  13. When I think of Bucks I still think of Glenn Big Dog Robinson and Step by Step references 😅.

When Cleveland made it to the finals in 2016 I got interested in them a little like that.  It's cool that they seem to have a good team this year but they still dont interest me.

Yeah my think in the NBA this year is Detroit.  I always had the image in my head of them as a solid team/franchise.

If Buffalo regresses, this year, we should ABSOLUTELY do it. We're the perfect team for his no bull####, insane work ethic approach. Dawkins would finally show up to camp in shape, Josh and WRs wouldn't be having miscommunications about where they thought the ball should be, every player would know every nuance of the rules, our clock management would be the best in the business, alignments and formations would be locked down.

Saying he's only been good with Brady as his QB is a cop out and wrong. He dragged Matt Cassel to 11-5. Jimmy G went 2-0, Jacoby Brisett 1-1. The problem is that every other QB he had in his coaching career (besides Bledsoe) was an unmitigated dumpster fire. Give him Kirk Cousins the last couple years and they're a perennial playoff team.

While I agree with your sentiments his age now I think has to be at least a factor.  Even Marv called it quits coaching in his early 70s before this youth movement with head coaches.
