Early 90s clips.
Very provocative for its time
Love the nostalgia of this video. My dad had an old camcorder like that I still remember

I remember that game well. Not fondly, but well.
We were in Boston on a work/pleasure trip and we met an old friend for lunch downtown at Ye Old Union Oyster House (est. 1826). I had a fried clam sandwich, and it seems the clams had been hanging around since the grand opening. A few hours later I had a rumbling in my tummy, but my wife’s co-worker was going to treat us to his favorite restaurant in Boston, on the bank, so I kept going.
It was in a beautiful old white house away from the city. I remember going in and ordering ginger ale. It’s all I could handle, and just barely. I remember laying on the floor in the bathroom, and that is never good. I wanted them to enjoy the evening, so the maitre de got a taxi to get me back to the hotel. The driver realized how sick I was and tried to drop me off at a different hotel, ANY hotel, to get me out of his car before something terrible happened. 🤢 🤮 or worse
I refused to get out, he got me to my hotel, and I listened to that basketball game from the cool tile of the bathroom floor of my hotel room. What a night!
Good times! 😂
That memory of that game gave you some gut reactions for sure!

Id be very surprised if anyone but UConn wins.
I know there’s always the possibility of upsets but Dan Hurley probably has it still fresh in his mind his brother’s Duke team beating UNLV back in 1991. I think that was one of the biggest upsets then for it’s time? Anyway Dan just strikes me as that kinda guy.
UConn ain’t letting up.

I watched yesterday's highlights. On a positive note since the Mets always had a real good opening day record maybe that's good superstition they lost. lol
I never cared for Hoskins but it did seem like that was a good clean aggressive play IMO. Or has baseball evolved where it's not good etiquette anymore to spike someone?
This came in my Youtube feeds. Kind of cute

The one where Al gets invited back to a dance at Polk High to talk to the kids. Just hilarious
Also, later in the episode Bud's date (Tiffani Thiessen) plays a prank on him making Bud chase his shorts so to speak. The Bundy's always dished it out to each other but very cool for Kelly to stand up for her brother.

As the season is winding down and no playoffs in sight for Year 13 I am just reflecting a bit on this season and wondering if this will go down as the most disappointing season in Buffalo sports history? Reminds me a little bit of the failed expectations of the Drew Bledsoe/Takeo Spikes years but at that point the Bills drought was just in the beginning stages so the frustration wasn't as pent up as it is right now with the Sab's
2012 Buffalo Bills for me. Which I think might have ironically been year 13 of that drought.
I wasn't yet posting on Buffalo Bills forums in 2012. But when I joined this site and even now sometimes I get surprised at how I seem one of the few Bills fans to consistently remember how awful that 6-10 year felt. Which maybe a 6-10 record in the NFL is equivalent to what the Sabres record is this year?
But yeah I definitely feel what you're saying though.

Seems suspicious as well his former girlfriend Kim Porter died at 48.
Rumor has it she was going to spill the beans on Mr. Puff Daddy

Saved by the Bell.
OMG its awful watching it now. But as a pre-teen, I saw every episode at least 3 times because of TBS.
Same here. I still remember the Superstation logo on the screen. The disaster area on TBS was usually my go to tv watching after school in middle school.

My feeling on this thread -
I was talking to someone else about America’s Funniest Home Videos when Bob Sagat hosted. Every Sunday night I as a kid being glued into it with my mom.
Watching some clips today in retrospect it seems pretty cheesy and the stuff hasn’t aged well. But I still remember in Cub Scouts using that as a family activity involved with talking about. Watching that show with my mom.
So yeah I admit it was cheesy but those times hold a place in my heart.

During the drought years I actually re-watched the game a few times minus the last 22 seconds.
I have to wonder if this game played any reason as to why the Bills didn't try a squib kick during 13 seconds? My unpopular opinion is only Super Bowl 25 was a tougher loss to take in Bills history since the 90s.

I just happen to find him particularly annoying. He has earned it.
I don't really follow Kentucky basketball but my impression of him is he does not take the 1st round games seriously. Like Doug Edert with St. Peter's that went wild on them a couple years ago in the 1st round. Ditto that Golhke kid last night. That was some 3 point display.
He doesn't have scouts help him game plan for these smaller schools/players he's not familiar with?
I mean from my computer that's my impression of that program..

I think this beautifully sums up what life is in 2024

So the bracket is out. I'm more interested than normal in this tournament this year.
Just a few thoughts by me:
I seemed to think St. John's and Seton Hall would make the tournament. 20 wins for a Big East team used to be the magic number to seal the deal but I guess not anymore?
If I had to pick a team to win it all it'd be Dan Hurley and UConn again.
Cool imo to see St. Peter's back in as a 15 seed. Them and Wagner will be the teams I'll be pulling for to at least give a good showing.

I feel like this is the perfect song to describe the Buffalo Sabres

Every damn year I hear this is going to be the last time for turning back and or forward the clock and I actually used to believe it at one point!
I fully prepared myself this weekend to wake up for work Monday feeling as grumpy as I did the morning after the Chiefs loss.

now I'm female so this makes this choice maybe a bit surprising. But I have never not once looked at an episode of the Kardashians. The family some consider American royalty. Yes all successful women in their own rights. It's the saturation social media overkill EVERY relationship, EVERY couture moment. I saw enough on my feeds to say BASTA enough already. I don't care about your glamorous life, who you are sleeping with your mansions, none of it.
Other than that I don't watch much network television.
I have never watched an episode of "The Crown". I read it was very good and popular. I just never have gotten there. Yet.
By the same token I’m from New Jersey and only recently finished the Sopranos. I am still not motivated to watch Jersey Shore.
