I’ll try and not sound overly whiny but I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression issues most my life and have spent many hours in therapy. Until I got diagnosed officially with autism so as to give me some idea what I’m working with. I never had the best social life and have never made over 50k a year in my life.
But I thought it was interesting they have some Rocky Balboa day now in Philly. Stallone was there and he had something along the lines of Yeah even billionaires tell me they feel like underdogs.
So while I’ll still probably always feel to some extent my issues are painfully unique to only me, other people can think that as well.
In a weird way there was always something relatable to liking the Bills during the drought seeing them as a parallel for my own stuff. Not that I’m complaining now about the team 😀.

When I was in high school my English teacher played that Tracy Chapman song to the class in 9th grade. Was the 1st time I heard of it.
Pretty much everyone there laughed at it. I realized at that point most kids at this school were little sh1ts.

A Happy New Year to all. After New Year's Day is complete that signals the holiday season is over imo.
I won't get into my issues here but the holiday season especially dealing with family members can certainly bring out the worst in people. It wasn't exactly a pleasant week for me since Christmas per say. I'm actually looking forward to going back into my boring routine.

The Dolphins have a playoff spot wrapped up even if they lose so hopefully it takes some of the edge of them.

Even if NE was 0-15 I will never take beating them for granted.... That being said I'm 50/50 on next week after today's result.
I am nervous already thinking about next weeks game

All football fans should be outraged at the officiating these last few years. It's the Lions today, and the Bills season tomorrow. I pray that the Bills win the Superbowl this season, so I can rid myself of this burden. That's what watching football these days feels like.
It's like I say, I feel the final irony of being a Bills fan is one day they will win the Super Bowl and I won't really find it all that fulfilling for the way the league is trending.

The last time the Bills won a road game against the Chargers was in 1981. After that brutal playoff loss months earlier.
The Nate Peterman disaster game was against the Chargers as well.
Playing there historically has been Hell for the Bills.
So yeah I appreciate your sentiments.

There is only a 5% chance of winning an NFL game when your team is -3 in the turnover battle.
Let's face it, Buffalo traveled to the West Coast in a short week which is enough to cause problems. Then, the Chargers fired the HC / GM among others and that gives the Charger players incentive to outright play for their jobs as hard as they can.
Also, Buffalo has had trouble beating this team in the past as they have gone 24-11-2 in NFL History.
Plus, the Buffalo coaches had no idea what to expect from a QB they had never seen and had no idea how to set up the offense, or defense on how to play them.
A win is a win and I'll take it however!

I don't consider myself a Buffalo or Josh Allen homer but these are my exact sentiments

As someone who thought this part of the site seemed overly optimistic about yesterday's game last week..... I'm still pleased with the result.
The team traveled Sunday night after a huge win across the country on a short week to play the team they have the worst winning percentage against in Buffalo history. It felt like the classic trap game to me. Ditto the 2014 Oakland game after the big win against the Packers
Wasn't pretty but I'm satisfied this morning

I always like to have an idea.
One of the main reasons why after the Chargers game I was still happy was because the Bills I know had a bad record versus them.
Ditto Dallas. I feel it’s a source of pride now for me that rivalry if you want to call it that isn’t one sided anymore. 6-6 in regular season match ups.
During the Josh Allen era it’s gotten better but for a while there it was bad against Pittsburgh. I think the Bills will win but yeah history sort of says it will be a tough game.
Or does stuff that happened years back to you have no bearing on the future?
