  1. A Happy New Year to all.   After New Year's Day is complete that signals the holiday season is over imo.

I won't get into my issues here but the holiday season especially dealing with family members can certainly bring out the worst in people.  It wasn't exactly a pleasant week for me since Christmas per say.  I'm actually looking forward to going back into my boring routine.

Good morning. Really not surprised to be walking up to another game decided by a referee blunder. This one is bordering on blatantly influencing the direction of a game to fit some marketing narrative $$.

All football fans should be outraged at the officiating these last few years. It's the Lions today, and the Bills season tomorrow. I pray that the Bills win the Superbowl this season, so I can rid myself of this burden. That's what watching football these days feels like.

It's like I say, I feel the final irony of being a Bills fan is one day they will win the Super Bowl and I won't really find it all that fulfilling for the way the league is trending.

I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn’t seeing this on a meme page but it’s happening.

I generally like the Ravens and Lamar. But this is a terrible look. What’s next? Tyreek Hill getting the Presidential Medal of Honor?

Even Rutgers whose college football program has plenty of shady dealings seems to want no part of him anymore

    THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

There is only a 5% chance of winning an NFL game when your team is -3 in the turnover battle.

Let's face it, Buffalo traveled to the West Coast in a short week which is enough to cause problems. Then, the Chargers fired the HC / GM among others and that gives the Charger players incentive to outright play for their jobs as hard as they can.

Also, Buffalo has had trouble beating this team in the past as they have gone 24-11-2 in NFL History.

Plus, the Buffalo coaches had no idea what to expect from a QB they had never seen and had no idea how to set up the offense, or defense on how to play them.

A win is a win and I'll take it however!

    Go Bills!

Yeah, you posted at the same time as me.

I don't consider myself a Buffalo or Josh Allen homer but these are my exact sentiments

  5. As someone who thought this part of the site seemed overly optimistic about yesterday's game last week.....  I'm still pleased with the result.

The team traveled Sunday night after a huge win across the country on a short week to play the team they have the worst winning percentage against in Buffalo history.  It felt like the classic trap game to me.  Ditto the 2014 Oakland game after the big win against the Packers

Wasn't pretty but I'm satisfied this morning

  6. The team deserved to win the Eagles game more than this one.... but traveling across the country after a late game Sunday night against a well rested Chargers team whom the Bills historically struggle with.....  I will take it!  Good win

  7. My mom and her sister (my aunt) are.  It never much clicked in my thick mind though my Mom was until recently.  She'd always get me lots of clothes for Christmas and buys enough toys for her nephews kids that would make a full orphanage happy.  It's kind of funny my father's side of the family is doing Christmas without giving any gifts this year.  Which to me is kind of weird but it is what it is.  My Mom still wants to give them gifts but my Dad is trying to tell her No They Are Not Having it!

It's a pretty funny memory now when I was in 8th grade my mom gave me a gift for Christmas to give to the principal of my school who was a nun.  I don't even remember what it was but I just did not want to bring it to her.  As a grown up now this sister seemed all right but she kind of hit upon some of the negative stereotypes people have of women who choose that lifestyle.  Anyway her office was across the street and like 5 minutes away so besides not wanting to bring it to her it was like a pain in the neck to walk there alone as well.  I asked my one friend if she was giving the principal anything to which he was like, "Heck No She doesn't deserve anything".  It was enough in my mind not to rationalize going through with giving her the gift!  I cant even remember how my Mom took it or what I did with the gift but I did not give it to her.  Aah , I have a lot of regrets of things I did or didn't do in life.... this was not one of them.

Inspired by @Another Fan's post about TV characters you can't stand.  Thought this one would be fun too

Homer Simpson(prime Simpson years Season 1-10)

    Al Bundy

    Cliff Claven

    George Costanza

I could go on and on for this topic but I'll wait for some other ones to come in before I name more

I liked all the Bundys but yeah Al was definitely my favorite.  Ditto Homer Simpson as well in the 90s.

    Others:

    Adrian Monk

    Dr. Jason Seaver

All the muppet characters pre Elmo

    Valerie Malone

In terms of eye candy the cast of Charmed.  (Alyssa Milano, Shannon Doherty, Holly Combs, Rose McGowan) used to like this show as a teenager for that reason!

  9. Great win today.  A thread hopefully to make tomorrow go faster.  Here's some of mine:

    Winnie Cooper- The Wonder Years

    Meadow Soprano- The Sopranos

Anthony LaRusso- Cobra Kai (although he does seem to mature a little)

Pretty much everyone on 90210 except Valerie Malone.  haha

I've felt this game would be a loss all year. Even more so now given what happened to the Chargers in the last game. You know they are going to want to redeem themselves. Hope by gut instinct feeling is wrong and it's just gas.

I admit I'm a little nervous about next week.

I feel it's human nature after a big win to let up a little.  That's not a knock on the Bills it's just sort of human nature.  Especially when you are traveling across the country for Saturday on a short week.  The Chargers have been resting since Thursday.  That and the Bills are only 11-24-2 all time vs them.

Nonetheless I'll enjoy today's win for another solid day.  Great win
