Another Fan

So this week my Grandma took a pretty nasty fall at her house where she's alone most of the time. She's all right but still recovering. I do have an Aunt who lives very near by that takes care of her to a degree. She has her own job/responsibilities/life though and don't know how much time she can keep emotionally investing in caretaking. Now my Grandma is as set in her ways as it gets so I doubt she'd ever go or agree. If anything maybe a stay at home aid type of thing would assist. Still I wonder how others feel in similar scenarios.

That's pretty ironic. I was just recalling reading Brighton Beach Memoirs in high school and just re-watched some of the movie for this first time in ages this morning. RIP

Don't think so. I remember for example the first game against the Jets last year everyone was holding their breath when it looked like he may have been injured.

Haven't been really paying too much attention these past few weeks. Still it looks like the wheels haven't come off the team. They won last night I see 3-0.

I also just love the fact that the ones who heckled you are the ones that don’t know shat about the history of their team. If you find legit Patriots fans I think they might not be so bad? Like ones who can recall the Bills victory in 1981 over them. Still such an awesome finish!

I always wonder if the Bengals had or would have had any idea that night how happy they’d make the Bills fan base. My hope is 5 years down the road the fan base will be like we actually had to celebrate another team throwing us a bone. Of course hoping by then home playoff games will be the norm

Yeah Petersen was aggressive but took smart risks at the same time. The Falcons well were just stupid. In retrospect that was my favorite Super Bowl I’ve watched

You may be reading the title and wondering how or why. I came across this interesting article below. It pretty much says Doug Petersen was very annoyed and enraged watching the AFC Championship Game and Marrone's very conservative play calling. Yeah in those movies to me at least he seemed more likeable. His character in Top Gun was more arrogant.

I was at the most southern point of New York State recently in Tottenville Staten Island. Nice place. There’s a beach and park there and usually no one really around. Being the state extends out to the Buffalo area, I thought that was pretty cool. That’s my inner nerd talking. Anyone have any? Try keeping it PG-13 well try..?
