  1. I agree. This is Taylor "unleashed", people had me believing we played in a shell because it was the Jets. Such a joke. Taylor. Is. Bad. That's it. He's bad. Not an NFL qb. Nope.
  2. Everyone struggled on offense?! How do you know that?! We didn't see receivers til 2 minutes in the fourth.
  3. Hah!!! People blaming Zay don't get football!! Zay got open when they knew we were throwing. Taylor ruined that.
  4. Definitely not easy. Especially for newer guys who were learning and trying their best to absorb the original plays all preseason. I'm not saying there aren't smart guys in the NFL. But most aren't exactly what you'd call book worms. I'm sure it won't make that big of a difference but any amount of confusion or having the inside track only helps, it's definitely not a bad thing.
  5. "And so it continues..." = "attacking" ? You must be a sensitive guy, huh?
  6. Really? That's not what you were saying two pages ago when I defended your honor like Daniel Laruso in karate kid two. Your minions getting a little carried away. You might want to reign him in a tad.
  7. Yeah, there's lots of competition for that #1 pick. Luckily there's a bunch of qbs that look like a solid option and we're packed to the gills with picks. It'll be hard for some of these teams to turn down a solid offer. They need a lot more help than just a qb. Case in point, the Colts.
  8. I don't think anyone in the entire world said the Jets are a good team. Their D isn't as good as last year but they're not terrible either. No one should have to "sugar coat" a win, and I don't see anyone doing that. Everyone said we were going to win this game and they did. You say the Bills "should have" won the game easily. They did. There was never a moment that was in jeopardy. I get you have your opinions but it's starting to get into agenda territory now. That's pretty extreme to say they're a playoff team. But they certainly look better than the Colts and Bungles as of right now.
  9. Here I was thinking we were coming to an understanding and meeting in the middle for some decent conversation. Then you come in and post a blanket inflammatory response like that without any contribution to the topic at hand. You're just proving crusher right. Bunch of dudes ganging up and completely derailing any momentum. That is what I find sad.
  10. I loved what I saw from those two. My concern now is that we released Mabin and are severely lacking in corner depth especially with Gaines being a a bit of an injury risk. I'm a little nervous that if one goes down we start cycling our safeties in the corner rotation and we set ourselves back like we did in years past. Corners are like the one position you can't have enough of and I hope we're not shooting our selves in the foot.
  11. So you completely ignore the whole second half of my post where I'm explaining my stance rationally and not at all posting in black and white generalizations and your contention is that I'm not really reading what has been posted? Ok bud, again you're projecting your exact actions on everyone else and not taking any accountability. That's not a discussion, that's you automatically deciding that everyone else is in the wrong and you're Mr. Objectivity. That wasn't at all the case when you first starting posting in the thread and telling people with a differing opinion they were flat out wrong without contributing any counter points of your own.
  12. I mean, to be fair this is the most articulated and coherent you've been in the entire discussion. You were just as quick to blindly jump on anyone that had any criticisms of Taylor. You can't really get on people for doing exactly what you were doing in the beginning of the thread. Criticisms aren't unjustified just because you believe they are. I'm willing to meet in the middle. I'm giving Taylor the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to believe that the Bills when into their shell because they were playing the Jets and not that they don't trust Taylor. I hope I see them "unleash" Taylor like they said they would. Because if going into a shell, completely losing offensive momentum and relying on a late game int is unleashing then I don't know what that means. Against good teams that can score (and I believe Panthers are) I want to see them score and keep it going aggressively, even with a lead.
  13. These are actually fair points. I'm even getting a little excited about seeing Taylor play. I have a feeling against better teams he's going to look like the same guy but I'm willing to go into the Panthers game with an open mind. I'd really like to see them trust him to play aggressively even with a lead. You can't go into a shell with a lead and trust that they can get the momentum back when the tides turn. Especially against good teams.
  14. I think we've got a decent shot but we'd better rush more than four guys on D. We were making the Jets o-line look like the electric company.
  15. I hope that wasn't an example of the Bills "unleashing" him. I'm hoping they just went into game management mode that early because it was the Jets. We can't depend on getting late game ints every game. They won't be able to get away with that against good teams. I've asked this a bunch of times and I still haven't gotten a response. Has he ever called an audible at the line based on the D, and does the team even trust him to do it?
  16. Ok, I'm imagining it. What now? Are you one of those people that think the fans influence a game? You're right. If the fans talked more about wins than comp picks we'd definitely have a championship by now.
  17. I hope the Bills plan to "unleash" Taylor this week. Didn't see it last week. Has the guy ever even called an audible? Do they trust him to?
  18. I hope that's true. It seemed a lot like I've seen that script play out one too many times. If it was purely a Jets deal, that's fine. But if we start doing that against good teams you can bet it's going to be hard to get the momentum back once we willingly hand it over playing vanilla. What was with Tolbert and the sweeps? They were doing a great job opening holes up the middle for him all game?
  19. I didn't read the thread but I really liked Humber, and Poyers play a lot.
  20. It took us intercepting the ball again to ensure the game was over because we couldn't sustain a drive at the end by having to play so vanilla. I've watched us throw away too many games at the end because we go into a protective shell and go three and out over and over again. Weird take, or you just don't remember those games? We're not going to be able to count on the defense always coming up with a stop and turnover. We have to take advantage of all of our opportunities. We're not good enough to sit on leads.
