Bills sign LB Ahmad Gooden to PS
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, the Ravens are extremely well-rounded and add Ngakoue. The Bills are in extreme need and add.....this guy? -
Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. It’s all roses up here.

What the?!!! That’s a pure example of the rich getting disgustingly rich. The ravens defence is the Bill Gates of the NFL.

Bills sign LB Ahmad Gooden to PS

Could have signed Ahmad Rashad and added more speed. -
I love how you think that this is somehow offensive. If you were to have reached your final days and looked back on Your life, will you ever wish that you had just been grumpier and more negative? I doubt it. Rose colored glasses or not, a positive perspective is always a welcome thing in my world.

Gameday Thread PreGame Bills vs. Chiefs

The negative Nelly’s are definitely making their words heard over the last six days. Stay positive and do all of your good luck things that can bring us a win and restore order to the force. -
Gameday around the NFL 10/18
MiltonWaddams replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When considering rankings, do you consider the team that is on the field this year or the team that was on the field last year? Because that is the logic in putting the *Pats, who have two losses, as a higher ranked team than the Bills this season. I understand historical significance when considering the records of two head coaches against each other, but look at the games that each team has played this year and diagnose the product on the field. I understand, and miserably relate to, BBFS but that cannot be a factor in real rankings. You could more readily state that the team with 2 wins and 2 losses this season needs to prove themselves against the team with 4 wins and one loss, especially considering that they each have an extremely comparable strength of schedule. This was the final straw. -

Was the Denver game supposed to be an afternoon game? That might make sense. -

I think these readings are completely wrong. Still having the *Pats as the second ranked team despite two losses is ridiculous. That team is not the second best team in the AFC right now. That belongs to the Titans and you shouldn’t take that away from them. I also will unequivocally state that the Bills are a better team than the *Pats. You are basing this on one game and completely ignoring the Raiders and the Rams games. Don’t fall into that trap. It also says how wrong you are in your ratings of the Titans because that team was really impressive on all sides of the ball. -
Week 6: Chiefs at Bills (+5): Monday 5pm on Fox
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The truth is that, if we have those key players in Milano and Tre back, if they can’t show a good amount of improvement over last week, we should definitely evaluate Frazier’s employment as a defensive coordinator. If that wasn’t a wake up call, there just won’t be one. McDermott will, or at least should, put his stamp on the D and make changes since Tuesday to mitigate some of the flaws. I believe not having a 2nd OLB that belongs in a starting role has been more than a problem. Klein is not a solution in the least. That needs to be addressed. -

41-34 Bills. It’s going to be a barn burner. -

Cam Lewis if Tre is healthy -
This guy knows nothing. That being said, F5, F5, F5.....

And why wouldn’t they? If you can improve an area of weakness, which the running game has been to date, at a minimal cost then would that not just be considered logical? Up until Tuesday, this was considered a top 5 team in the NFL and the offensive side of the ball was reason 1, 1a and 1b. The Chiefs proved that an elite offence and a passable defence can win it all. Now, as for making the defence passable.....

As I understood it, he was enveloped in a special chamber and his family and friends were visiting him and calling him bubble boy.

Gameday Thread PreGame Bills @ Titans
MiltonWaddams replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps the wording of not practised is incorrect, but one of those three days was just a walk-through. They haven’t had the ability to work on tackling and other key facets of the game for quite some time now. There will be inevitable rust. -

Damn you lucky Brits getting to see the game with that time delay! But, you neglected to mention that 73 yard pass through the air from Allen to Diggs at the beginning of the fourth quarter. My friends in Australia have already told me that one’s a great one. They have the biggest advantage. They saw this thing yesterday. -
Falcons fire HC Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff

You must not have watched the game this week. Ryan looked completely terrible. He may just be demoralized after horrible loss after horrible loss, but he is a different quarterback than the one that played the game in 2018. He would still be worth a third round draft pick for a team in need of a veteran leader, and assuredly can turn things around in the right situation, so Atlanta would be wise to take an injection of youth with Lawrence and then trade Ryan to a team like Indianapolis who has all the pieces. With Ryan’s huge contract, I’m not sure that would be possible, but Lawrence could definitely learn from Ryan. Hopefully he could learn how Ryan plays in the first 3/4 and continue that into the fourth quarter. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football

This is true. However, he was one positive test on the team and there were two days in between it with no positive tests and they had a full week of practice. The two situations are not comparable. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football

Picked him up Thursday. Saw this coming last week, so just needed to know how long the NFL would delay the decision before I picked the QB. Apparently we were right in choosing a Monday night QB. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has been debunked. It wasn’t the NFL that made that decision. It was the NFLPA who demanded additional pay for the additional bye week. In a year where fans weren’t allowed into the stadium, despite the TV money which is obviously large, that was an expense that the owners could not take on. -

However, under that option, there may be a chance where the Bills need that win to qualify for the playoffs. If there was the option of having an additional week off before they play, or missing this game and moving it to that point, I’m not sure that the team wouldn’t just take the option of playing this week. Let’s hope that the final week this year sees all of the starters resting and everybody getting healthy before the playoffs. -
Bills-Titans score predictions
MiltonWaddams replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White and Milano will be big losses if they both don’t play. Gabe Davis, though not the player John Brown is today, can play in his place and assuredly show what he can do. The first two, fortunately for the Bills in the wr department this year, are the two big losses.
