  1. Yeah, I understand that, scumbag hit. I wouldn’t wish an injury on him but I’d like to see him get lit up by White and concussed to even it up. I’m Old Testament, eye for an eye.
  2. I think you are on to something when you say the coaching is terrible. McD would be a good coordinator but I seriously doubt he will turn out to be a good HC. Oh well, only 41 games left under this current regime, most likely, then we get to do it all over again.
  3. I don’t root for players to get injured, but I am rooting for Brady to dip his wings in ranch dressing and get a brutal case of the green apple splatters so he can’t play due to food poisoning.
  4. The Bills are so bad that I’m actually embarrassed to have a prime time game here.
  5. To be expected... At least Rosen looked crappy and Miami lost. The remaining games need to be mistake free to be entertaining, this team isn’t good enough to turn the ball over and take penalties. And without Allen out there to watch there isn’t a lot to look at. I tried watching Edmunds but he had a tough game today and the D looked deflated in general after Clay’s GD fumble.
  6. Can we get a bad call against the Colts again?
  7. Well he can’t seem find a returner who can just fair catch a ball, so yes.
  8. Danny ***** Crossman’d again... Field just got flipped for the Colts....great D wasted, again.
  9. Let's Go Bills!!! I'm calling it now, Peterman gets a shot at redemption today and takes advantage of it. I've had a couple pops, yes, but I just watched that throw to Zay last week and it can't end like this for him.
  10. These are my thoughts exactly. I am an Allen doubter and see the OP’s point but it just isn’t happening. The Allen experiment will either work or fail, I don’t see it being second guessed.
  11. That’s usually a concern of mine for Jerry too but like Yolo wondered, I’m not sure Hughes has had one this year, he’s been killing it and playing smart...(knocks on wood)
  12. Hughes has looked awesome since the 2nd half of the Chargers game, being a key cog in the overall team D turning a corner that game. I’m really rooting for him to have a big game, you can tell from the article it would mean a lot to him.
  13. 1. I was born and raised just across the border, 30 mins from Buffalo, and still live here today. So the Bills are my hometown team, so to speak. 2. I really enjoy going to games and meeting other fans at the tailgate, and just having a great time partying. I don’t know if my fandom would be this strong if not for the game day experience. 3. My favourite memory is probably the last two games against Green Bay. My buddy, who’s a Pack fan, and I organized a bus trip here in 2014 and we all had a great time. This year the same buddy and I made the trip to Green Bay and sat 7 rows behind the Bills’ bench and despite the loss it was an awesome weekend. A close second would be last year, watching the Bengals pull it out for us while at a holiday party with friends. Seeing the Bills end the drought after so many years was special. I’m 40, and have been a diehard fan for about 28 years, it’s crazy that the drought went on that long. Wow, you’ve seen some great games!
  14. How weird is it for an NFL coach to say that starting Derek Anderson in 2018 gives your team the best chance to win?...and for it to be true.
  15. I think the other line of thinking is that Allen isn’t progressing and it may be better to go back to the original plan of sitting him for the year to learn.
  16. I wonder if McD shelves the kid for the rest of the season.
  17. I can't remember if it was a podcast or maybe on WGR but Ledyard was discussing how the EP system nowadays presents a ton of options for the QB, which can be more difficult for a QB like Allen who struggles with reading coverage and decision making. The summer school article briefly touches on that, "It wasn't until Charlie Weis joined those same Patriots decades later that the modern iteration of the system came to be. Instead of using a simplified passing system to minimize the duties of the QB, Weis used it to massively enhance the multiple options and possibilities within a given play."
