  1. I’m analyzing Allen, not his opponents. My point was that he looks the same as last year, and the year before that. This game and his performance are eerily similar to a lot of tape from Wyoming. The big knocks on Allen are his accuracy and football IQ. While I credit him with showing some improved accuracy on the short stuff in Minny, I think the scheme helped him. Everything reverted back to his baseline when he was unable to read the D in Green Bay, accuracy was brutal and he looked lost/overwhelmed. That being said, I’m biased. I read a ton about him and watched as much analysis of his film as I could find and wanted nothing to do with him, had him ranked behind Jackson, lol.
  2. One thing I found funny was the guy with the horn outside the stadium. He was playing the “go pack go” song after the game but as I walked by he changed it up to the “whaaaan waaaa”. We all got a good kick out of it.
  3. What was your criteria for a blow out? Did you count the Chargers game from this year? It was an absolute blow out but the final score doesn’t reflect that.
  4. I see your point, but I also accept that others aren’t able to self regulate as easily.
  5. So you aren’t emotionally invested in the Bills whatsoever? Despite spending thousands of hours on here and BBMB...
  6. Yeah, I’m pretty cheesed about the entire situation. (Pardon the pun, it’s the only good thing I got from my trip to Green Bay)
  7. It's the narrative that a lot of fans are taking, that the poor play by Allen is entirely due to the bad line and bad WRs. But watching the all-22 you can see that Allen is just as much of a contributor to the poor showing as everybody else.
  8. If you switched the uniforms you’d swear this game film was from any year Allen played at Wyoming, it’s the same scenario; bad line, bad WRs and a bad QB. I need to stop watching and reading analysis of Allen, it’s too depressing to think about, especially when you consider McD and Beane’s future are most likely tied to this kid.
  9. I picked this team to go 2-14, as it was pretty apparent that the stripped down roster has very little talent, so I’m not shocked at the poor showing on the field. My main thought is that “the process” looks flawed and poorly planned. Why draft a raw QB and put him in a situation like this? A system that doesn’t help him, a team that doesn’t help him, and put him in there... And the focus on the defensive side of the ball is also perplexing. This is a scoring league, yet this team seems to think building a good D is more important than building a solid O. Look at the signings, money was spent on the D at the expense of helping the franchise QB. And it also doesn’t help that the signings were awful...Star doesn’t even play half the game, Murphy gets little pressure and Davis quit.
  10. We all know the issues Allen has to work through, but criticizing his inaccurate throws and inability to read a defence are fair game. What happened to the progress we were sold after his time with Palmer? Allen was missing throws by 5-10 feet early on. And being under pressure is tough, no doubt, but making the decision to throw it up on the run, across the field is laughable, it shouldn’t happen at this level. We all hope things change, but 1/4 of the season is over and Allen looks like some of the draft grades advertised, a 3rd round project. It’s not really the kids fault. Beane reached on a project and had no plan to help the young man progress.
  11. Had a great time at Lambeau, very nice stadium, fans were welcoming. As for the game, it was an embarrassment. Allen was brutal, which is where the focus is. But I also think Edmunds struggled mightily too....again.
  12. I was on that flight, tons of Bills fans.
  13. Pregame meet up sounds great, see you all there. Go Bills!
  14. I’m too lazy to search through 100 pages of this thread, but why are Trumpers against an FBI investigation? Seems like the best way to get to the bottom of this.
  15. Flying in from Buffalo Saturday and leaving Monday. Booked through a tour group that my Packers’ fan buddy has used before.
  16. That was somewhat unexpected....more please
  17. I just would have looked at him and said, “Bruce Smith, eh?”, shook my head and went back to watching the game.
  18. Damn Mayfield is promising.
  19. I am on the fence as to whether this particular situation (bad O line, bad receivers) will have a negative impact on Allen’s ability to improve his mechanics, I would assume it’s easy to fall back into bad habits when you’re running for your life. I hope things do slow down for him and he grows this year. I agree. I think it takes time to learn this scheme, so that should improve. Either way, it gives us something to dissect every week in a rebuilding year.
  20. I agree that the game should slow down with more snaps under his belt, so he’ll be able to get through his progressions quicker. But what did you think about his accuracy? I am not really a believer that accuracy is a correctable trait.
  21. I waited until I could watch this video to give my opinion because being at the game it was hard to see where every ball was located, and the video reinforces what I felt in person, that Allen was bad. Allen is missing RBs on wheel routes or in the flat by three feet, and underthrowing deep balls despite the big arm. I fully understand the context of being in his first start, and I'll give him credit for being poised, but this is exactly what Allen was in Wyoming...inaccurate, with no touch. I hope he improves and look forward to seeing if he can fix his accuracy, but as we have seen in the past, fixing inaccuracy is a tall order.
  22. If you can guarantee wins, I'd really appreciate a 'W' in Green Bay...thanks.
  23. Thanks Hammer and everyone else who was out for the tailgate, it was great to meet more of you guys.
