i do. live in ny where they only care about people who make under a certain amount. they seem to eat much better as the snap allotment has gone up and up. the rest of us who havent seen wages go up not only have to pay more in taxes for this but also are dealing with the same inflation. so i guess the moral of the story is everyone on the lower middle income bracket should give up and get taken care of and there is plenty to go around and alot less stress about bills. that is until the next tier up wears down and gives up from watching people who do nothing live more comfortable then them. only thing stopping this is the integrity of people who don't want handouts and are willing to work hard and grind out a living. those are the blue state policies your referring to.

when it comes to states like ours cal and ny where there is solid one party rule its looking more and more like problems that involve empathy are truley ever going to be solved. there's to much money to be made. gov pass bills to allocate taxes. numerous foundations are born. people always willing to donate to support those in need and very little oversight or alternatives by anyone. for as much money that gets generated i would think people would demand actual results but seem content, because it warms the heart, to see alot of the "results" are only services. what it amounts to is simply making those facing the problem more comfortable and reinforcing them staying in a perpetual state of need. more need more money. people are numb to the fact actually fixing problems like these are not all about comfort and care. locking people up in rehabs, monitoring them constantly so they stay committed in the workforce or take meds is going to be required but how many will choose it if living that way is made easier. as long as they are never forced to make that decision then i see it only getting worse.

i think the saddest part is that the media will put "right wing extremist" q anon or any other tag to the right in the headline and most people will glance and know the "whole" story. so the lie just multiplies to the unaware who cant be bothered to read a tad bit deeper. its understandable as life is tough and glancing is all some can do to get info in a busy life. what i will never understand are the exact same types of people will have STRONG opinions and swear they know all the facts. even become activists over a story and take time out of their day to type on message boards, hit the streets or worse violence. yet never put a 1/10th of that energy to seek even a few facts. its how we get covid hyteria for YEARS where internment camps are actually suggested. a world of info in everyone's pocket and this is what we are as a society. this happens repeatedly to the same people. at some point a portion of humanity lost the feeling of humiliation. i have respect for those i argued with over mandates and masks on here and i dont see anymore. if you cant admit you were wrong then at least they showed they felt shame. as for others. still preaching to others. not sure how you can stay engaged on this board the way you do b-man.

well this is the essence of the discussion. im seeing more leftists that simply refuse to acknowledge facts over people on the right on here. your prescribing any doubts or descussions from the right as "conspiracies" from people being intentionally ignorant. im saying somthing like vax prevents hospitalization is not as clear unquestionable fact as you would like. i scanned the study and still have questions. is that ok? what measure are we taking to decide what a hospitalization is? because as i understand it children have had .000* whatever mortality rate BEFORE the vax was even recommended for them. are we deciding parents who are spooked or require any sort of therapeutic as "needing hospitalization". are we trading the advantages( i believe are also well documented) of gaining a robust natural immunity that will be superior in the long run as opposed to a synthetic one that A) may only help with initial symptoms when infected early on but as it becomes a yearly virus will be void? B) subjects children to unknown long term side effects which coincidently STILL offers pharma complete immunity for any potentially deadly side effects C) also coincidentally give the manufacturers a recurring indefinite revanu stream despite A and B. and D) trusts that the scientific community is giving accurate information THIS TIME? seeing as so many lies have been pushed id say taking studies with a grain of salt should be more normal and believing them at face value would be a conspiracy theory. nothing besides D) is irrational. do you think? yet it all falls under your umbrella of these (fools) are questioning the FACT that vaxes prevent hospitalization. the fact they have been caught repeatedly lying and yet other (fools) take their word at face value could be argued the opposite way...which is. what i did. but if that study is legit and it is in fact saving children then i can easily say i was wrong and need to dig in deeper to find the answers. a rare statement made by either side. but just know i did concede a very long time ago during a covid mandate descussion with another poster where i said the only legitimate reason to force a vax wouuld be if it prevented spread. i was assured and given studies that this person who was close to the med field read the literature and it was true. it didnt age well
