Repo Man (1984) Why? It's totally original, weird, funny, great characters and dialogue. Seen it at least 50 times. A Clockwork Orange would be in my top 5 favorite movies. -

Most dramatic sports moment you saw?
Bills4everNY replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
Dramatic but in a horrible way. I was 8 years old and watching the Indy 500 and Sweed Savage crashed his car and it burst into flames. One of his crew members ran to help and was hit by a firetruck and died instantly. Savage initially survived the crash but died in the hospital later. -
I didn't get to talk to Bonnie Raitt when she was there but everyone who did said she was really nice.

I was working in a hotel in 1982 and Bonnie Raitt and her band and road crew stayed there. I saw them checking in at the front desk and I saw Ian McLagan, the keyboard player for The Faces, The Small Faces and the Rolling Stones on their 78 and 81 tours. I went up to him and said I was a big fan and asked him for his autograph. He said he was happy that I recognized him. He said "It boosts me ego." Several hours later it was 11PM and I was done working and ready to leave the hotel and I saw Ian walking into the hotel bar by himself. He saw me and asked me if I was still working. I said no I'm done for the day. He said: Care to join me in the pub for a few drinks? I did and talked and drank with him until the bar closed at 2AM.

Love that movie!

That video was great. I can tell that was the 1981 tour by what Mick was wearing. The girls on stage were gorgeous. No facial piercing, tattoos or purple hair.

Me and my friend felt like we were VIPs wearing those tuxedos at the show. I wore it later that year on Halloween. Some day I might look though all the boxes of stuff I have in my garage and see if it's in there. If I find it I'll post a picture of it.

I've seen the Stones 10 times over the decades and the 78 show was my favorite. I liked them better when it was just the 5 Stones with the Ian Mclagan and Ian Stewart. The 81 tour was great too. Later tours they had backup singers and Mick did choreographed dance moves. I liked it better when Mick would just run all over the stage and jump around like crazy.

I bought a tuxedo at the Stones concert at Rich Stadium in 1978... maybe the same kind your friend had. It was blue and white, had the Stones logo on it and said: TuxEgo welcomes the Rolling Stones to Rich Stadium, July 4, 1978. I bought it in the parking lot for $10. After the concert, when I walked in my house wearing it my Mother said: How much money did you spend on that?
