  1. Note: many tweets were blocked or labeled "violent content" on twitter.
  2. And I have posted more than three that show masks as little more than a placebo (excepting the N95s) ... over in the COVID thread (I linked because we now have four COVID thread down here). Feel free to go over and read. 🙂
  3. I wish the Supreme Court would step in and say that all mailed ballots must be received by close of polls in that state, on election day, to count. There must be something before them? (I do not know, I am asking.)
  4. The people spreading disinformation are those that think any old piece of cloth can prevent this virus from infecting them or others. I choose to think it is being pushed so people feel they have some measure of control over it (they do not). Even with that benign attribution, it can be harmful in leading to a false sense of security over contracting the virus. If it worked, we would all wear masks and be done with this. The country would be open, and as soon as the virus died out, we'd dispense with the masks. However, masks do not, can not, stop the transmission. In the words of PA Gov Tom Wolf, it is political theater:
  5. I clicked and read. It is not new information. (article removed)
  6. I read he helped Trump with debate prep. Do not read the comments under this tweet: And Cam Newton tested positive! (Just thought I'd toss that in.)
  7. The press conference is now over, but you can watch it here (they only took a few questions): Walter Reed News Conference on President Trump's Condition Dr. Sean Conley, physician to the president, provides an update on the president’s condition at Walter Reed Medical Center.
  8. We were driving into Custer State Park when we were forced to slow down. The first car in the line stopped, and so did the two motorcycles ahead of us. Naturally, we also came to a halt behind them. While sitting there, we heard it... a *huff*huff*huff* some shuffling leaves and some snorts as this bison comes wandering down the side of the hill. He then hangs a left as he hits the roadway, and starts *huffing* down towards us. The motorcyclists got a big nervous and prepared to take off. And I couldn't blame them. That bison was BIG. Hubby had the window down and I quickly yelled at him to roll it up. As the bison clip-clopped past us, he gave us the stink-eye. It was as close as I wanted to be to one of them. They are truly large animals. We saw a lot of bison when we went to Custer and when we went to Yellowstone.
  9. Less biased than the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons? Read the link if it makes you happy to dismiss the messenger. Here's the Reader's Digest version: Conclusion: Wearing masks (other than N95) will not be effective at preventing SARS-CoV-2 transmission, whether worn as source control or as PPE. * N95s protect health care workers, but are not recommended for source control transmission. * Surgical masks are better than cloth but not very efficient at preventing emissions from infected patients. Cloth masks must be 3 layers, plus adding static electricity by rubbing with rubber glove. </snip>
  10. I am certainly pissed (Trump "cultist" that I am )- at CHINA. China who allowed this disease to spread, lied about it, got the WHO to lie about it, and did not share data or sources. WTF do you expect the President of the United States to do? Hide in the basement? He has a country to run. Why he was taken off HCQ + zinc pack as a preventative is a valid question. And if you tell me "masks" I will laugh in your face... with and without a mask. If masks worked the entire country would be open. Instead, places with tough mask laws are still closed (California, NYC, etc.)
  11. Fundraising off of his diagnosis was the original start (by someone I have blocked. I only saw it due to a quote.) And, even though it went viral, it is not true.
  12. Lemme see, a corrupt, senile, sexual predator; what's not to love?
  13. Not exactly... Michigan Supreme Court: Governor exceeded powers during coronavirus pandemic The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday struck down months of orders by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that were aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus, saying she illegally drew authority from a 1945 law that doesn’t apply. The court said the law was an “unlawful delegation of legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution.” </snip>
