  1. One If By Land, Two if By Sea. That is my fondest memory NYC restaurant. As trite as it sounds, Hubby and I got engaged there. It was ground zero for engagements, or it was 15 years ago. I cannot imagine what it will be like tonight. Flashes of diamonds everywhere, and people packed into every crevice.
  2. I do not think so, @transplantbillsfan . People can read. I have read all the text messages, the OIG reports, etc. It is fairly evident what happened. McCabe not being indicted for lying is distressing in light of so many manufactured process crimes that have been litigated to this point. Does it mean no one (or that McCabe himself) will not be indicted? No. But, it is disheartening.
  3. ok, the idea of Tibs teaching anything, let alone a writing class, has me laughing out loud. Honestly. I am still laughing. Oh my goodness. You may want to lay of the LSD. There is no way anyone not tripping on hallucinogenics could believe those things. IF you really read Part 1 of the Mueller report, you could know Trump/Russia was pure nonsense. Part 1 was the portion was not based on feelz. Part 2 was #OrangeManBad and we have to justify spending millions and wasting a ton of time after we figured out there was no there, there.
  4. I'd love to know the name of your "law firm" so I could avoid hiring them if necessary. I use quotes because I am highly skeptical that someone who does not know how to read could be a practicing attorney. On the other hand, with the attorneys I do know, I guess it is possible...
  5. I suspect you could benefit from some help at an adult literacy program. You clearly are unable to read text messages and government reports. After that, a few self-help books in learning how to think for yourself might be beneficial, too.
  6. Hey, has anyone asked the open border crowd what they think of all these countries closing their borders to China? Isn't that rayyyyycist?
  7. Oy. "Conspiracy" theory. You can't read text messages? OIG reports? What has gotten so many people frustrated with this delay is that so many CAN read text messages. They CAN read OIG reports. They understand what happened, who perpetrated it, and why it was done (and no, #OrangeManBad wasn't the real reason, graft and payola was the real reason). Pretty much all the people following this saga knew that "nothing would happen" until after the Democrats had played their last impeachment card. If "nothing happens" before election though... Will anyone be indicted? I'd hope so. The crimes are pretty blatant. Will anyone be convicted? That I'd lay odds against if the trial(s) are in DC.
  8. It may very well be that no one is held accountable for the soft coup and subversion. It may mean that this summer, there is a world of hurt for the soft coup plotters. Time will tell.
  9. MCCabe isn't off the hook yet. He's taking a victory lap like he is though. ?‍♀️
  10. I do not think Trump can do subdued for long. I can't help but think that tweet, and then the subsequent interview, was all designed to stop the "Barr needs to be impeached, he's doing Trump's political bidding." Watching the interview, Barr pointed to many distractions which makes the work of the DOJ more difficult. The press ran with the tweet comment (as everyone and their uncle knew they would), and now Barr is not only not being "impeached," suddenly he is an A-Ok citizen because he dissed the president's tweeting. The press is nothing if not predictable. It doesn't take a degree in 11th dimensional chess to see that any comment against Trump tweeting was going to result in the usual suspects backing Barr because #OrangeManBad. Methinks it may have been by design. ?‍♀️
  11. He's been there since 1997 but they are thanking him for nearly 20 years of hard work and dedication to our organization. Hmmm ?
  12. First thing I thought was, "She needs a better bra or at the very least, a bra fitting." I'm sure that was your first thought too.
  13. She's gone: Jessie Liu resigns from Treasury after pulled nomination
  14. Politico article from November: </snip> And that first juror was an only-in-Washington character, a former Obama-era press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone. She acknowledged having negative views of President Donald Trump and said she had followed the media coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Still, the woman said she did not have strong views about Stone, and Jackson denied a request from Stone’s lawyers to strike the woman as a potential juror. </snip>
  15. I cannot believe Roger Stone would not have cause for a mistrial. This seems a little crazy. I guess an appeal is in order?
  16. If it is swift boating, the WSJ started it. ?
