  1. Nancy is 80 today!! She doesn't look a day over 100 without her make-up (I still want her make-up artist).
  2. According to this poll (yeah, yeah) the public approves of the coronavirus response, except for the "msm." I am shocked, shocked I say! that gotchya questions, doom and gloom, and #OrangeManBad is not playing well to the masses. Coronavirus Response: Hospitals Rated Best, News Media Worst Americans are generally positive in their evaluations of how each of nine leaders and institutions has handled the response to the coronavirus situation. Eight of the nine receive majority positive ratings -- led by U.S. hospitals, at 88% approval. Only the news media gets a more negative than positive review. </snip>
  3. If the word yesterday is true that there is not much mutation, that will make a vaccine much easier. Here's hoping!
  4. And unless every city public transportation system is scrubbed down with Lysol, it will just keep perpetuating until a vaccine is found, or we all develop immunity.
  5. What a coincidence, I too am going make-up free while under self-quarantine. I don't consider it any sort of hardship though, more like... YAY!!
  6. And why the news outlets so desperately want the pressers to end. They are being exposed as idjits, and people can watch in real-time what President Trump is actually saying. I wish I could say that is stopping the headline-narratives; it is not. It is just exposing them as narratives to more people. And the "msm" does not like that. At all.
  7. The numbers will be worse next week since the Senate didn't plug the "sit at home, get paid" language. I am sure Tibs and his ilk will be thrilled!! That is the Democrats dream.
  8. Actually, China deserves the kick in the ass for unleashing this on an unsuspecting world.
  9. Sure, the experts knew everything there was to know about this virus in February. He was not gathering information, and the situation is not fluid. (yeah, that is all sarcasm.) "The hoax" comment was referring to the press and Democrats saying he was not taking this seriously. This has been pointed out before. Yet, you still repeat that he called the virus a hoax as fact. SMH What would YOU have done differently? You have an extra month to read the experts opinions. Specifically, what would YOU have done differently that is within the control of the federal government (as opposed to state control)? And I once again ask: What do you think President Trump could have done differently? What do you think he should be doing differently? Specifics please. ? (You didn't answer any of those questions.) As far as politicizing this: see Pelosi, Nancy. THAT is politicizing the virus. Stuffing every goodie on your party's wish list/agenda into a bill when people are looking for money and hope.
  10. ? ? ? In case it doesn't imbed: https://www.facebook.com/peter.j.gibbons1/videos/10222750280720710/
  11. I wish he'd post more often to twitter. With the daily pressers, he's getting his message out though and probably just does not have the er, two minutes to tweet. FFS maybe he tweets while going to the bathroom? Or, isn't he even allowed a potty break?
  12. Normally I would say that this is over 25 years ago, she had her chance to come forward, and waited too long ... except he was a Senator at the time, and that made him a really, really powerful man. I could see why someone would remain silent with these allegations. Article from 2019 and Time’s Up Said It Could Not Fund a #MeToo Allegation Against Joe Biden, Citing Its Nonprofit Status and His Presidential Run refused to defend her because "he's running for president." And, she was apparently Putin's Puppet. Last April, Tara Reade watched as a familiar conversation around her former boss, Joe Biden, and his relationship with personal space unfolded on the national stage. Nevada politician Lucy Flores alleged that Biden had inappropriately sniffed her hair and kissed the back of her head as she waited to go on stage at a rally in 2014. Biden, in a statement in response, said that “not once” in his career did he believe that he had acted inappropriately. But Flores’s allegation sounded accurate to Reade, she said, because Reade had experienced something very similar as a staffer in Biden’s Senate office years earlier. After she saw an episode of the ABC show “The View,” in which most of the panelists stood up for Biden and attacked Flores as politically motivated, Reade decided that she had no choice but to come forward and support Flores. She gave an interview to a local reporter, describing several instances in which Biden had behaved similarly toward her, inappropriately touching her during her early-’90s tenure in his Senate office. In that first interview, she decided to tell a piece of the story, she said, that matched what had happened to Flores — plus, she had filed a contemporaneous complaint, and there were witnesses, so she considered the allegation bulletproof. The short article brought a wave of attention on her, along with accusations that she was doing the bidding of Russian President Vladimir Putin. So Reade went quiet. </snip>
  13. Former staffer accuses Joe Biden of sexual assault </snip> In April of last year, Tara Reade accused Joe Biden of inappropriate behavior when she worked at his Senate office in 1993. Now, she’s accusing the Democratic presidential nominee of sexual assault, according to a graphic interview with podcaster Katie Halper. </snip>
  14. My guess (just a guess) would be that the Senate is still futzing around with the coronavirus economic bill, and it is not quite as "done" as advertised.
  15. Amazon ramps up cleaning and sends home exposed employees as coronavirus spreads to 10 warehouses AMAZON has reportedly ramped up cleaning measures and sent exposed workers home after the killer coronavirus spread to ten of its warehouses. COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the company's tenth storehouse this week, infecting employees who are scrambling to deliver goods to millions of locked down Americans, reports say. </snip>
  16. You're an #######. Seriously. I'd say "try harder" but you need to start with trying at all. Jerk.
  17. I am so sorry for your loss.
