  1. Trish Regan Out at Fox Business After Coronavirus Comments Regan’s show was pulled earlier this month after she stated the coronavirus was “another attempt to impeach the president” </snip>
  2. 5:30 news conference for Trump...
  3. Battelle awaiting FDA approval to deploy mask-sterilizing technology Columbus-based research giant Battelle is close to deploying machines that will sterilize masks and allow healthcare workers to reuse them as demand grows amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted said Friday. He said approval from the Food and Drug Administration, the necessary final step before the technology can be put to use, could come as soon as Friday evening. A Battelle spokeswoman declined to talk about the technology pending that approval. But Husted said his understanding is that the machines would be able to sterilize up to 160,000 masks a day. He expects two machines to be deployed in Ohio, with others headed to New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. </snip>
  4. I love to take cruises. It helps me build my immune system. Probably as well as a teacher, daycare worker, or someone with children. ? Seriously though, I have another one booked for later this year, and one for early next (Antarctica, not sure how else I could get there if not on a boat).
  5. I put it in Greg's thread. If it turns out it really was a coronavirus reaction, @GG has it quoted.
  6. It did not read like that to me. Anyhooo you and @Buffalo Bills Fan quoted it, so if it is a Coronavirus reaction, it is here.
  7. That China video does not belong in this thread. Sorry! It was police-on-police (apparently). I would like to delete it, but it has been quoted twice now. I put it in the wrong thread. Edit: I did delete it and put it in the better thread.
  8. Huh. But, I thought there were no new cases in China? It is trending downward! Er... China Shuts Down All Cinemas, Again </snip> China's film regulators has slammed the brakes on plans to gradually reopen the country's cinemas. Over 600 movie theaters across China were given the green light to reopen their doors over the past week, but Beijing's Film Bureau put out a notice late Friday ordering all theaters to go back into shutdown. No official explanation for the sudden reversal was provided. Industry insiders instantly began speculating that the government was worried about a potential second wave of coronavirus infections. </snip>
  9. You are not wrong. Not certain who is to blame here... the House for asking for the moon to make settling seem like a "win"? The Senate for not stripping the pork and getting together a better bill to begin with? Since it has to pass both the Senate and the House, compromises were always going to happen. Many people think "ok well, pigs got pork" while others are thinking pass a clean, usable bill that actually helps American small business as well as everyday citizens. And still others think "Well, at least it is not the House bill!" ---- which could have been the point of the House bill all along? ?‍♀️
  10. The bill is horrible, and yet it was better than what Nancy was pushing. SMH Wow, do I have low expectations.
  11. First Charles, now Boris. Who's next?
  12. Anecdotal... Friend works in a steel mill. They have been cutting for ventilators for the last two weeks (on double shifts) and are now laid-off for a week.
  13. Yup. I would not believe anything coming out of China. Not cases numbers, deaths, recovery, protocols... nuthin’.
  14. Israeli Company Is Donating Potential Coronavirus Treatment to Hospitals Across US An Israeli pharmaceutical company is donating to US hospitals more than 6 million doses of hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug touted by President Donald Trump and others as a potential new treatment for COVID-19 patients. Teva, a pharmaceutical giant in Israel, has announced it will begin donating millions of hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets to hospitals across the US starting March 31. </snip>
