I wouldn't just make it up. From the Niagara Gazette. Eerily similar offensive output with a tiny nod to Brady. More run production under Brady and more pass production under Dorsey. The turnovers is the main area that stands out among this graph. Also, you can't ignore the 22 drops under Brady compared to only 9 under Dorsey (per PFF). Nine less turnovers in one less game under Brady and about five more minutes of time per possession. Every other metric (ppg, ypg, yards per drive, etc. were pretty much identical in the 10 games under Dorsey and nine games under Brady). We just had more yards passing under Dorsey and more yards running under Brady. I'll leave it to somebody smarter than me to tell me why we were so much better at securing the ball under Brady than Dorsey. I'll also leave it to somebody smarter than me to explain why the drop % was so much higher under Brady than Dorsey. Was it Kincaid wearing the wrong gloves in the rain? Was Diggs secretly forcing his way out of Buffalo? Was Cook too focused on his backflip on the two dropped TD's? I demand answers.

You just seemed to discount them when projecting a 17 game season under Brady despite leaving out the two playoff games. PFF's grades are the most objective analysis of catchable target throw % out there and Allen didn't slip very much from Dorsey to Brady. They were very much in line with his 2021 and 2022 season. Yet his completion percentage went down about 10% points. It's probably that our WR's last year over performed under Dorsey and under performed under Brady. I guess my point is I'm not freaking out that Josh is all of a sudden going to revert back to 2019 Josh Allen just because of the loss of Diggs and Davis.

The team as a whole did and it was mostly the improvement in defense. Forcing turnovers and stops at key moments. Zappe just threw another pick to Douglas last night. The biggest change Brady made was running the ball more and more effectively helped with time of possession increasing it about five minutes per game under Brady (34:38 from 29:50). They simply played better complimentary football with Brady at the helm. That unfortunately involved running Allen on more designed runs similar to what we saw at the end of 2021. Brady has a tough task next season of breaking in at least three new WR's and finding a way to run an efficient/effect offense without all the designed QB runs.

Interesting numbers but I wish you'd include the two playoff games for a better sample size. What I do find relevant is our WR's had 21 drops in 9 games (playoffs included) under Brady and only 12 drops on in 10 games under Dorsey. That took away some first downs, big plays, and TD's which drives all those metrics up. For example, if you go by PFF's metrics for adjusted completion percentage (the % of aimed passes thrown on target) he was at 79.1% the 10 games under Dorsey and 74.3% the 9 games under Brady last year. The 74.3% under Brady was more in line with his combined season/postseason stats in 2021 (74.2%) and 2022 (74.8%). He definitely slipped a little passing wise from Dorsey to Brady but not as much as those numbers suggest. Certainly not as bad as his 2018 (64.7%) or 2019 season (70.6%).

I hope they're more competent than Cohen.

Individual player prop bets would be the easiest thing for a player to control. They should pry get rid of those. Maybe Diggs took the under in his receiving yards the 2nd half of last season.

I think he's the greatest to ever play the game at that position. I also think his narcissistic personality is the main reason he only has only one ring and one Super Bowl appearance in 16 seasons.

I said this in another thread but in case Beane missed it. I'd be all in on trying to acquire Aiyuk and giving him the St. Brown contract he's asking for with minor adjustments to fit him under the salary cap this season. Imagine having Aiyuk, Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, Kincaid, Knox, and Cook for at least the next two to three years. SIGN ME UP!!! Nobody could accuse Beane of not maximizing Josh's prime years then.

Clown show. I just remember his explanation for all the horrible challenges/non challenges during that 2015 Chiefs game in Arrowhead after the game in a key game in the middle of the season. I wanted them to fire him after that press conference.

I agree. NFL needs to come down hard on this and they should force the Jags to forfeit their first three games.

Aiyuk is significantly better and is a true #1 who I felt was even withheld in SF's offense. Much better route runner. Much better against press coverage. A true threat to all levels of the field.

I know it pry won't happen but a trade for Aiyuk would make these weapons among the best. Having Aiyuk, Coleman, Samuel, Shakir, and Kincaid at least the next two/three season would be maximizing our Super Bowl window with Josh still in his prime.

-Defensive holding and illegal contact is ten yards but not an automatic first down. -If an offensive player fumbles the ball through the opponents end zone then the ball will be placed 10 yards behind where the fumble occurred with the offense getting to keep the ball on the next down. If some defender pulls a Leon Lett then the offense takes over first and 10 from the opponents 11. Also, move the Super Bowl to Saturday night or the Sunday before President's day.

Not too different from last year where we knew Kincaid would start and be heavily relied on as our first pick. Also, it would be helpful but not necessary if Torrence won the starting job as our 2nd pick. I think the only real difference is the 3rd and 4th round pick were drafted in positions this year is where they could play a small percentage of the snaps in positions that traditionally rotate. He's always been consistent with rookies. If you're the best guy we can put out there at your position (combination of physical and mental readiness) then you start.
