Tyrod was a QB with limitations coming into the season as he is now. The only thing that has changed is his surrounding cast that has gotten worse due to trade and injury. To say the offense played no hand in the three wins is ridiculous just as it would be to say the unit had nothing to do with the two losses.
While I agree with this, TT has showed that the cant be relied on consistently. We were +3 in turnover differential going into that last drive, not to mention a good punt return with a penalty tacked on to the end of it to give us good field position, and we still only put up 16 pts.
Yes TT has not changed, but this tells me/reaffirms two things. 1. We need to draft a QB high next year. 2. Either we roll with status quo and try and eke into the playoffs, or go with the unknown quantity which has boom or bust potential.
While I don't think that now is the time for change, the O.P. does have a point. I expected going into the season that this team would be 1-4 going into the BYE week with a win versus only the Jets. They're 3-2 and tied for the AFC East lead, so there's pretty much zero chance that they punt on Taylor at this point. With that said, I think the next 5 games will be extremely telling. While they'll get to see 3 of the worst run defenses in the league in the Raiders, Jets and Chargers, i think teams will learn from what happened this week and just not allow the Bills to run the football. Taylor has to THROW the running game open. If he doesn't, I predict that this team will be 0.500 at best after the Chargers game and at that point, out of the race for the AFC East. If that is the case, I will absolutely want to see what we have in Peterman. This team cannot afford to go into the offseason with two first round draft picks and not have a clue as to whether Peterman is just a preseason / camp warrior or potentially the guy of the future. I have zero confidence at this point that Taylor will be on this team next year.
Good post, but to add on to another reason why they wont make the change now, is I think McD would lose the locker room if he made a change now.

Ducasee should be an emergency backup. I like Glenn, Incognito, Wood, Groy and Dawkins. But really, the blocking scheme is also terrible. Those are the most talented players, IMO, but unless Dennison goes or reverts to last year's scheme, this offense will continue to be terrible. (this is not a TT defense, more of a Shady defense).
I think it is a combo of things. Since the offense is based on the outside zone read and the right side of our line being bad it limits what we can do in the run game. If the D thinks we are running the ball, call a run blitz to the left side of our line. That way if we run left we get stopped for a loss, if we run right its going to suck because we cant block it.

if all healthy, I said glenn incognito wood groy dawkins

yeah I now don't like mrs Thompson and wish her baby boy was back

This is a bunch of BS.
Every player who has ever played the game wants to do well and have stats and help team win.
Yes they are happy when they win but they want to help the team win and are unhappy when they do not perform. Especially in pro sports where your performance dictates if you continue to get a paycheck. Most keep this quite and inside, but it is there.
Did you not read the quote? He said he was more concerned with his performance than the team winning. That seems contradictory to what you are saying.

There is already another thread on the Andy Benoit article, this should be moved there

And you are the typical Internet tough guy I referred to above. What a joke.
Your sarcasm meter must be broken

it is amazing how outraged people get, and where this thread has turned. On a sexism scale, I would have to think this has got to be on the low side
-
Let him get up to speed in practice this week but sit him out, then during the bye he can be inserted into starter role, and we can get two weeks to get Dawkins acclimated to the RT spot

It involves a neck and a tattoo.
True but they don't seem to be moving on from him yet, and its hard to win a shootout if you can't put one in the net (for some reason Chris Farley in Black Sheep came to mind when he is yelling at David Spade when they are playing checkers, "Its so easy to win when you never move your back row!")

What is up with the Sabres futility on shoot outs? I am no hockey expert, (I mean I understand the rules and what I am watching just wasn't raised in a hockey family so have had to learn as I go) and I try to catch as many games as I can, but couldn't we stash someone on the roster, like a 4th line type guy who just specializes in shootouts? It seems we need to get someone like Kotalik who was money

Personally I don't think he was trying to be sexist I think he is just an idiot

Rodak even when he gives credit to the bills praises the Pats. Like one of his recent ones, where he described what the bills were doing in the FO as the Pats formula

Just imagine being stuck in a cave for 17 years with no natural light, except for some a-hole shinning a flashlight on you every year. People aren't sure if this is just another flashlight show, or the football gods finally blessing Bills fans with the golden light we strive for year after year.
If we were stuck in a cave for 17 years, you should jump at any light you have as there is nothing to lose, whats the worst that can happen? you stay stuck in the cave? on the other hand, if the light is real....

Current scoring defense rankings:
Jets: 22
Carolina: 7
Denver: 9
Atlanta: 19
I think those defensive rankings line up pretty well with how well our offense has performed against them. Not great news for the next two games, especially considering the loss of JM, as Cinci is #5 and Tampa is #4.
After that the difficulty loosens up, except our two games at the end of the season against the #2 Dolphins.
I see Cincy as #3 scoring D and tampa as #16
Also, our offense is based on running the ball and we have faced 3 of the top 12 teams against the run (Denver, Carolina and Atl) \\
Cincy is lower on the run D side at #17 whereas tampa is #5

a couple issues here, while our offense hasn't scored lots of points, we have played some really great defenses which he didn't acknowledge. He also states we have these offensive powerhouses coming up but down plays what we did to Atlanta. It seems to me he is looking for things to prove that we wont succeed imo. It doesn't mean the points he makes aren't valid, just seems to me it was written as a piece to back up what he already thought instead of using data to reach a conclusion on its own

I am honestly am surprised we don't have a poster with the name "The Process"
-
ESPN power rankings, we beat their #3 and #4 team in consecutive weeks (one on the road) and we are #15, smh
-
Do you remember your first hit of Process?
I don't remember but im sure the process was processed

Tyrod > Jim Miller

Ray Rice is ready to go. He's been practicing punishing opponents by visiting the nearest elevator daily.
Yeah but can he go in the wrestling ring like Deangelo? We all know McD was a wrestler
